Who isn't mesmerized by a fire? A roaring wood fire is a sensory experience; it is alluring with smells, crackling sounds and multi-colored flames. Showing up every day to play with fire can be therapeutic, and for a chef, a visceral and challenging interaction. To master this volatile element requires patience, skill and strict vigilance.
Ember's venue boasts a variety of private and semi-private spaces perfect for corporate meetings, casual mixers, rehearsal dinners, or any special group occasion. Menu planning is subject to group needs and chef suggestions. We look to make your event exceptional. We also offer full restaurant buy outs.
Summer fresh flavors make for a gardener's paradise. Two of the most common finds - strawberries and basil - cover the fruit to herb spectrum. And while they can come together for a variety of match-ups, over at Ember they meet in a cocktail glass. Since opening their doors four years ago, @emberf2f and MAS Lounge have become local and visitor favorites on St. Simons Island.
Ember Farm to Fire is a high-energy, locally owned eatery based on wood fire cooking! Using selectively sourced local ingredients and fresh crafted beverages, we take pride in a dynamic work environment of quality, fun, and a unique experience! Our success depends on teamwork, dedication and dependability.

Easily some of the best food we've had locally. The atmosphere makes you feel like you've left town, not to rag on anything locally, because there are a few awesome restaurants, but this one took the cake for us given the fact that our food and service were both incredible. Their adult beverages are unique in flavor and also super good, only took 1 a piece for us to feel a little tipsy and that took us by surprise. We'll definitely be back!

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner. The pizza oven is super cool the food was great service was great and I will be back for sure. I was thinking that it's location was setting it up to be just a normal place but this place has gone above and beyond to make for an excellent dining experience. I am looking forward to my next visit to the area to get another great meal!

First, the atmosphere is a little weird. I feel like it should be in Miami not St Simons Island. 2nd the pork belly is amazing! It was the best dish we had. The meatzilla pizza is good. I would skip the steak. You can find a better steak at a steakhouse without jus on it. The apple cake is okay. I am not a fan of the taste of anise in my apple cake.

Strong contender for best restaurant on St. Simons. Consistently great experience from delicious food to excellent service. The atmosphere feels very metropolitan. Austin and Heather are awesome there in particular.
Food highlights: Brussels, meatballs, Cuban pizza 🤤🤤🤤🤤, it’s all good honestly
Don’t sleep on the peanut butter pie. Holy moly that was good. And the pound cake was on point too.
Also I know where they source their food and it’s highest quality and local (when possible).

Fast, friendly service.
My buddy said his cuban pizza was excellent; good crust.
My short rib bowl was very nice. In fact, the roasted carrots and brussel sprouts were so good that I ate them all up and only ended up eating half the meat (which, to be honest, was a little dry). But the jus was excellent too.

Sort of a hip 60s vibe to the interior decor. And I mean that in the best way possible. Interesting menu with lots of choices. I had the scallops and they were excellent. Served on a tomato risotto that was wonderful. One of my dining companions had the shrimp and it was equally good. Desserts were apple cake (Yum!), and the peanut butter pie. The diner with the PB Pie just would not stop talking about it. I’m thinking it was pretty good. Highly recommended.

First time visiting St Simons. Staying on Jekyll Island and found the restaurants lacking for a “foodie”. Ventured to St Simons for dinner and had reservations at a hotel restaurant by the water but after a trip into “Wine, Body and Soul” Sheila steered us to Ember. It did not disappoint. Amazing fresh food, cooked to perfection. Wonderful environment and great service.

The food was good as usually although the roasted Brussels sprouts were a bit oily. They had a large group in the back room so everything was backed up. We were seated at 6:30 but the food didn't arrive until 7:50. We were beyond hungry at that point. It didn't help that our waiter had to be flagged down a number of times just to order drinks, food and to get the bill. It's like we just weren't on his radar. We won't go back for awhile.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We went on a whim while visiting and were very pleased that we had. Both the lamb and roasted olives appetizer were delicious and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The cauliflower crust pizza was a big hit and the shrimp main course was superb. The menu is creative and the preparation is outstanding. Beverages were also a hit, with innovative house-infused spirits for the cocktails and an intriguing selection of craft beers.

This restaurant consistantly serves fantastic food. Heather and the whole crew there are very gracious with the curbside to go orders
The atmosphere isn't quite the same at home, but the fine dining and presentation of the meals is top notch
The seafood entrees are always fresh; the steaks divine, and their special Cauliflower Crust makes for the tastiest GF crust I've ever tasted
Thank you Ember!!!

The vegetarian fettuccine pasta is one of the best tasting meals I've had in Georgia! The pasta tasted really fresh, the sauce was flavorful, and the ingredients complimented each other perfectly--I especially loved the mushrooms. There were so many delicious looking meals on the menu, but I worry I won't try something new next year because I will be craving the pasta until I return.
I know that I'll add a Caesar salad next time, though! My boyfriend let me taste his and I almost stole the whole thing from him. I generally love a Caesar salad, but this one was grilled and, like

Tried a new restaurant tonight..
"Ember" 70 Retreat Village..St. Simon's Island.. tonight was trivia night which they have every Monday..
We sat right next to the fireplace wall which was perfect on this cold night..they were very accommodating in moving us from by the door.. they even called early in the day to confirm(reservations were made last night open table) the chef also changed the entree to fit what Alvin wanted..he enjoyed the lamb lollipops and I had the meatzilla fried bread which cooks in the open flame..the fried pound cake was the bomb..lots of people and a warm space...the menu
