Tramici means "among friends, " and the Halyards Restaurant Group is grateful to have Chef LaGrone's talents as part of the Tramici Restaurant friends and family. Chris studied his craft at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, taking his first job under Certified Master Chef Rosendale at the Greenbrier.

New Year's Eve dinner was fabulous! Our waitress Melissa provided outstanding service. She was attentive and helpful. She provided different options for my husband who needed gluten free. The antipasti, dinner salads, entrees (The Filet Mignon special and Spaghetti), as well as, the desserts (Tiramisu and Raspberry Sorbet) were all superb. The vibe (as my kids would say) was amazing. The staff really worked well together and seemed to enjoy their cohesive environment, which trickled down to their happy customers.

I really enjoyed my experience here. We came New Year's day, and made a same day reservation for 5:30. This seemed to be a good idea because they didn't have many times left. They did offer bar seating it looked like though. I ordered the short rib ravioli and it was lovely. It was flavorful but subdued and not as heavy as a red sauce dish. I thought the portion was excellent. Their appetizer cibatta was amazing! Soft, chewy and crispy as a good cibatta should be. We got two orders and ate all of it between the two of us. Folks, this is a “must enjoy!” I was delighted by friends who took me here for my birthday celebration and so very, very happy they did. I kept my order simple and had the spaghetti, choosing it without meatballs to stay plant-based. Absolutely delicious with a well-developed marinara. The focaccia was delicious dipped in the oil & balsamic vinegar mix. I can also wholeheartedly suggest the Italian Spritz cocktail as quite nice!

What is not to love about a thin and crispy pizza made with the toppings of your choice? My husband loved the pizza and I enjoyed the lasagna. It was a tad spicy but in a flavorful way not just heat to cover poor quality like some restaurants tend to do. The service was perfect and although it's really cool in the restaurant overall the ambiance is enjoyable.

We don't normally eat Italian food at the beach, because there's so many great seafood places in the area. However, we had trouble finding a reservation for 9, and this was our only option. We lucked out.
Food was excellent; fresh made pasta with delicious sauces and yummy proteins. We had two restricted-diet diners in our party, and JJ (our server) and the kitchen were VERY accommodating, even going so far as to create custom dishes for them.
I really enjoyed the gnocchi with fresh shrimp; others had the short rib ravioli. Everything was fantastic.

I tried to dine at another restaurant, which had a crazy policy of reservations for bar seats (first I've heard of something like this). Luckily, I had Tramici as a back-up, and I feel like I walked away with a better dinner than I would have had otherwise. I was able to grab a seat at the bar and was served quickly. I started with the special salad, then had the house-made gnocchi for my entree. I had originally passed on the bread... but quickly asked to revert my decision so I had something to get all of the lemon cream sauce up. The bread was delicious too! So happy that I ended up dining

Ate dinner here for my brothers birthday and it did not disappoint.... the ambiance was wonderful and so was the food! We did go on a busy night so it took a little longer for our entrees to come out, however it was worth the wait. The lasagna rollatini was to die for, and i don't usually love lasagna. I also recommend the fungi pizza because i also don't love mushrooms, but this was amazing! The short rib ravioli and the chicken picatta were also very delicious! For an app you can't go wrong with their calamari, ciabatta bread, or tomato bisque

We were just at Tramici's for dinner. We had a group of 11 people. First, we had a reservation and they put us outside. Someone in our group ordered bread for everyone. Instead of putting the bread on his check, they picked 3 checks to put the bread on. I was an individual, where there were several couples. He put part of the bread on my check. I didn't even eat bread. He was going to take it off the check, but still took it out of my cash. What the hell!!!!!

Ordered a pizza and when the rest of my party's food arrived my food never came. It took until the rest of my party had finished their meal (maybe 30ish minutes??) until the server came back to ask about the food. She realized immediately and we got my pizza in probably about 10-15 minutes, and they took it off the bill.
Very nice atmosphere!
Probably wont eat here again just because I didn't love my food and fancy restaurants aren't really my speed.

4.5 out of 5 (sorry Google only does whole numbers)!!! We ate at Tramici for our 15th wedding Anniversary. We made reservations a couple days ahead and highly suggest during the busy season. The food was amazing! I had the Chicken Marsala and my wife had the Chicken Piccata. No complaints from me however my wife said there was too many artichokes in hers but was able to pick around them. Their menu selection was small. Our server was very slow and we had to ask for things such as refills several times. For a higher end restaurant on the island, we expected better service. Service was fast and the staff all wore their masks. We dined outside. I met family here for lunch. We had all ordered margarita pizza, beet salad, short rib ravoli, and grilled chicken salad. The beet salad had a fresh light flavor made with golden beets, arugula, and sring onions. The margarita pizza had whole alices of tomato on it and a flavorful seasoned green pesto sauce under the cheese. The short rib ravoli was packed with tender meat and topped with a creamy sauce. The grilled chicken salad was a huge portion with a nice dressing.

I came in with my Aunt and her friend for dinner, since they have been here before and enjoyed it. I think finding good restaurants runs in the family because Tramici was a very nice place on St. Simons. Upon arrival, our temperatures were taken, all staff wore masks and tables were separated according to social distancing- very safe and sound!
