Fully professional services with human touch! I had been to the salon twice in the last three months of my stay in Dallas, hair care by Christine was pure ❤️
Especially like the Italian connection of the salon.

First time visiting Gioia. Scheduling was easy. Once I walked in I was greeted and waited for Carmelo to see me. The staff was super friendly making sure I was helped while I waited for a couple of minutes. Carmelo is super customer oriented, he asked what I wanted and cut away. I was blown away by how great he cut my hair. My old hair dresser moved away, I tried another salon and was just not impressed at all but this place made me feel great all over again. I can't wait to go back! Try them, you won't regret it. They really do care about your hair and what you want. I've read reviews

I was very nervous as my hairdresser of 20 years is ill, so a friend recommended Gioia Salon. Daniela for my color, Allesio did my cut and may i say I was so pleasantly surprised my experience was AMAZING! Going to a new place, with new color challenges, and covering a little grey with totally new people is always stressful...but Daniela put me immediately at ease asking me "how i saw my hair" first and foremost. I cant even begin to tell you how happy I am. I got my hair cut by Carmelo the owner. He took his time and gave me such a great cut! I donate my hair every 1-3 years. And i decided to go for. Major cut this time. All together i cut off 23" and was able to donate 18" of hair. This salon is beautifully kept and very clean. They really listened to me, and gave me a cut that makes me feel beautiful. I will for sure be returning in the future for another cut and maybe a styling. Really pleased with this salon and the service.

I have been coming to this solon for many years and should have already done a review. This solon and the people who own it and the people who work in it are all awesome. Always helpful and always accommodating and also aware they must balance one customer's accommodation with the next clients rights to begin their appointment on time. During the shelter in place at their own expense they mixed our color and gave it to us to use at home-- something not offered by my friends solons. Claudio cuts my hair and Christina does my color. Both are excellent and I would highly recommend them. Daniella

I Absolutely love my haircut, I have extremely curly hair and it's difficult to style, but every haircut he does makes my hair look like a million dollars! Specially the last time he cut it, every time I blow dry it straight the ends curl perfectly without the use of a curling iron!!! I have received so many compliments. I'm in love with my haircut.

After going through many stylists and salons for years, I’m happy to say I found my favorite salon. Every time I’ve left Gioia I’ve left very happy and pleased with my service. The atmosphere is so welcoming, the product selection is great and the front desk is excellent and very accommodating. The stylists listen to what you want and give you professional opinions of what would suit you and your features best. Alessio has been wonderful and I fully trust him with my hair. I've been driving into Dallas because I couldn't find anyone in the Plano area that I've been satisfied with.

Marella does a great job on my hair! I hope I am not killing the spelling of her name, just want to send a shout out! I have had a hard time finding a salon I like close to home, but I think I finally found one! And a great hairdresser too! She has a great work ethic and really wants to do a great job, not just cut your hair and get a paycheck. thank you!

I went to Gioia salon with a gift card won at a golf tournament, I usually only go to Aveda Salons, but I thought "hey change is good!". My first impression was great! Receptionist and the lady who washed my hair were sweet!
I was happy with my style at first, but after the curls had gone down I noticed huge variations in the layers. Almost as if I had a Mullet. I called to have it fixed, I was came in early the next day, to the original stylist who said my hairstyle was great! They washed my hair and the hairdresser cut my hair 1/2 inch in length, offered to but product in my hair

Love Mona. I had an older friend show up with some beautiful highlights and that's how i discovered this place. Monal actually cares about the health of your hair and doesn't over process the ends. I had beautiful lowlights for winter mixed in and now bringing back the super light for summer. Ty Mona!

Alessio is the best!!! I've been going to him for 2.5 years and never will I change!! He's personable and confident and has a way of making his clients know they are the most important thing once they sit in his chair. Then the magic happens!!! I literally give him freedom to do anything at all to my hair and each time it's amazing! Strangers stop me everywhere for his number, a thing I've never had happen before with my hair cuts. He's truly a gem and I feel incredibly lucky to call him my hair dresser!

I have been to Gioia twice and will continue to go back! Alessio is amazing, so professional and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what to do to get my hair healthy and looking its best.
