This was the worst management ever. First of all, without considering the other facts, they discriminated me for immigration purposes asking for documents that show that I will stay beyond my visa permit date (Which is completely ILLEGAL to deny housing for immigration reasons).
Secondly, I went to see the apartment beginning of December and was sent a link to apply (while I was told that the apartment is ready for December 15). However, I applied later to move in on 31st. I called the property before applying to make sure that everything is all set for me to apply and that I can do a move in

I have been looking for an affordable, spacious 1 bedroom apartment in the NJ area for a while now. There seem to be plenty of places, however most are too small, too expensive, or too far away. For me Merida Metro was the perfect combination of everything I was looking for. My husband and I had about a week to find a place to live with a new baby and when I called Meridia, Gia assisted me and right away we scheduled for a tour the same day. She gave us the options that were available to us and answered all the questions we had right away even through email she responded quickly.We toured on a Tuesday, Gia said the apartment was available that Saturday. She sent the application the same day and we closed the lease. Everything was straight forward, quick and easy. Management has been very helpful. Other than the other reviews about Gia I did not have a good experience. I scheduled a showing with Gia for 3pm on a Friday, I live in New York and the traffic can be challenging at times specially on Fridays, It was 2:39pm when I texted Gia to let her know I was running 5-10 minutes late and no one got back to me right away, after calling several times but no answer finally I received a text from Gia at 3:15pm stating she wasn’t at the office but guess where I was?? Yes I was outside. Things happen so I said ok, can I reschedule for Thursday? the following Tuesday since I never got a confirmation

I just want to say wow! Me and my girlfriend were looking for a new place and we struck some luck with this place. Let me just say Gia, was a great help to us. She was able to schedule a tour with us almost immediately. She filled us in on all the details of the area, and answered all our questions. My partner and I left in confidence that we knew this is a place we will call home! The Meridia has that wow factor. Beautiful building, with a nice neighborhood. Everything you need is 5-10min away. Looking forward to resigning my lease next year.

Couldn't be happier with Meridia Metro. The apt building is very well maintained and any maintenance concerns are completed timely. All staff and management are very kind, responsive and helpful. I especially enjoy that my dog has a fenced in dog run with a grooming room and the payment portal is also a huge plus!
