I am a professional hair stylist with over 30 years experience in innovative and contemporary hair styling, specializing in hair cutting and color. What I enjoy most is creating a hair style that suits each individual client. I have worked in some of the top salons in Scottsdale, Arizona and I have recently opened my very own salon, "STYLES BY KAREN" located in North Scottsdale.
I am continuing my education in the current trends and have attended workshops with Carla Ross, Jingles of London, as well as many talented instructors and hair stylists in Arizona. Kris has been a friend and a client who came to see me ready to update her hairstyle. I suggested a look that would better suit her face shape and take her to the next level of current short haircuts. Changing her parting and incorporating more layers at her crown along with a bit of symmetrical direction added a more trendy fashion to her gorgeous red hair.
