At Shin's Martial Arts, we practice the traditional Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do. In Tae Kwon Do, all parts of the body are used, and the use of the lower body is emphasized. Strengthening of the lower body allows a practitioner to remain healthier and feeling younger as aging usually starts with a weaker lower half of the body.
However, Tae Kwon Do is more than just physical practice. The body becomes a tool to help each individual develop mentally and spiritually. Each belt color from white to black has a specific signification. They express the physical, mental, and spiritual growth of the martial artist who wears it. We do not just learn olympic sparring, we practice kicks, punches, sparring and forms.

Services
Our school is registered with the World Taekwondo Federation, the only official organization recognized by the Olympic Committee. All our black belts, instructors, and master instructors are certified by Kukkiwon the only official dan certification organization in American and international Tae Kwon Do.

We have been going to Master Shin's for over a month now. They are very good with kids. I have seen nothing but positive character building. My son LOVES the classes. He wasn't the most coordinate and he has improved beyond what I could have imagined.

If I could only give 1000 stars ... if you want to learn from the best , and develop real skills .. go to shins... grand master shin taught me to kick incredibly well , It’s an accelerated program that makes everyone good ... classes consist of stretching exercises . kicking, forms , light sparing , and self defense techniques... anyhow, the thing I’ve enjoyed the most about it , is it gives me a real sense of accomplishment .. I highly recommend!

It's rare to find a Tae Kwon Do grandmaster who cares about every single student. I've been here for over a decade and have learned so much what it means to be a martial artist and this school is my second family. My whole family including my 3 year old goes to class. The best experience is when parents and their children participate in the class. This school is my second home and I recommend it to everyone who is looking to learn and also build great relationships.

They are not structured at all. The hold belt tests on Saturday and have no scheduled time to test or finish. I watch all my kids while my wife is at work so I drop my older sons off and no mater if I call or not they never can tell me what time I should pick up my kids. Therefor they are outside alone crying because Dad is not there to pick them up. They let the Children run out of the building unattended. This is dangerous. What if they get taken or abducted? What if they get hit by a car in the busy parking lot? Also their payment system is un heard of. They use a collection agency called Affiliated

We have been going to Shin's Martial Arts now for a little more than 2 years as a family. My wife, 2 older kids and I love the family atmosphere. Our youngest 2 year old girl comes with us everything we go and absolutely loves it. Everyone is always very understanding of her and loves her so much. We will keep going as long as we can as we feel it is good for everyone.

I have studied martial arts with Grandmaster Shin for 13 years. The school has a wonderful family atmosphere where people of all shapes and sizes, ages 3 to 83, all skill levels and all cultures are welcomed with open arms. I have received the absolute best instruction available. I've learned to kick and punch, do forms and sparring, but most importantly, I've learned mental and emotional discipline. I've learned to push myself to do more and to think more deeply. And even after all this time, I still learn--every time I'm in class. Grandmaster Shin cares for his students, and does his very best

Grand Master Shin is the real deal, He brought his skills with him from Korea and has trained many to advanced degrees that have gone on to open their own schools. It is an honor and a privilege to train under a true master. This is one of the masters that decided if Chuck Norris would receive his belt. No joke. He is also a true Christian and not afraid to tell you about it.
