Christy is truly an artist. She listens to the client and offers suggestions regarding the hair cut that suits one's face, meets one's needs, and will be suitable for the type and condition of hair. I live in San Francisco and drive to Marin, because she is the best!

I was pretty exhausted from reading a ton of Yelp reviews and I just find searching for a new hair salon such a daunting task. I have to start off by saying Kristina, Hollie and Christy are all AMAZING and if this review were only for them, I would give them 5 stars (6 if possible :-)) But, I have had 2 unfortunate experiences in which I had paid for blowouts and not gotten blowouts at all. They were $55 plus tip and I could have done a better job of blow drying my hair at home (and I am horrible at blow-drying my hair!). I'm not sure the assistant knows why a blow out is and when I tried to show her, it only got worse. When I tried to gently tell the front desk I didn't get what I was looking for, there was

I went to Stephanie @MC 23 and I absolutely love the way she did my hair! She took the time to talk with me first and listen to what I wanted and was able to incorporate her professional knowledge in with what I was looking for. I wanted an easy hair cut,that doesn't require a lot of work, cover the gray and have it look natural. She definitely nailed it! I can honestly say that at least once a day people comment on my hair and ask me where I get it done. They are often surprised to hear it is colored because it looks so natural. I've been getting my hair done with her for years, and no matter the look I'm going for (balayage, and hair painting with high-lights and low-lights are my go-to techniques) she never fails to amaze me! She's not only incredibly talented, but she is truly passionate about doing hair and loves to make you fell pretty! Always in love with my fresh new finished results. Holy cow where do I begin? First of all the location is amazing, very nice little spot, not too busy, easy to find decent parking. The salon itself is very nice, I loved the interior, their little patio was very pretty. They have a nice skylight towards the back which adds some nice natural lighting (perfect for those selfies we all want to take after a satisfying hair appointment). I got my hair done by the lovely Stephanie Fimbres and let me tell you she knows her stuff. She worked her magic on my dark brown w red undertones head and brought out the most beautiful blonde that has ever graced

I LOVE my keratin. I saw Kwandee last week. Full disclosure, I'm a hairdresser myself and I do a ton of keratin treatments. I recently moved salons and no one at my salon does them so I had to venture out. I also have some of the most unruly curly hair imaginable. I warned them over the phone and showed up with coffee as a peace offering. I know that when I walk in my hair can be intimidating. He did a great job! Very detailed oriented and professional. Kwanee is awesome. Very personable, professional & gave me exactly what I went in for; toner to brighten my blonde/took out the brass. The salon in general is pricey (it is in Ross, soooo) but his fee's are reasonable and I was lucky enough to get an appointment right away. I will definitely go back and also recommend him to others.

Christy is a life saver! I was having a very hard time transitioning from a bright blonde to a dirty blonde as my hair throws so much gold. I am very fussy with my hair color and if it's not right I don't feel good. Well this super woman looked at it and said " I know what to do." And after only sitting 2 minutes with my color on, yes 2 minutes I came out with the PERFECT blonde, I am so happy and would give this salon a 10/10.

I just had the best experience at this salon. I was greeted with a smiling face as soon as I walked in, even though I was 10 minutes late. The salon is beautiful! It has rustic brick and wooden beams everywhere and is super inviting. Every stylist seemed very nice and seemed like they really cared about their clients. It had a small town feel, even though they were really busy while I was there.
I had partial highlights and a cut by Kwandee and he was amazing. My hair turned out perfect! He really listened to what I wanted and gave great suggestions along the way. Kwandee was so friendly and easy

I just had a cut, shampoo, style and highlights by Kwandee at MC23 salon in Ross. He was terrific! He cut my hair into a new style and I love it! He listened to what I was looking for, gave me a little advice, and then gave me the best look I have had in years. Everyone else at the front desk and the lady that shampooed my hair were great as well.
The location was so like an added bonus. I just drove to the front door and parked! no meter or hassle.

My regular stylist in Sausalito broke her wrist and won't be working for some time so I needed to find someone new - boy did I get lucky! The receptionist was so accommodating and helped me set a same-day appointment with Laurie Stone. Laurie did a beautiful full tint in a warm golden brown that really goes well with my skin tone. Next Anna washed and conditioned my hair with a masque till it was silky soft and then Laurie gave me a lovely new cut - as I have poker straight baby fine hair this was no mean feat!

Not only do I go to MC23 for my hair color and cut, but we also used them last month to do our wedding hair and make-up for two brides plus our bridal parties. Kimberly is my regular hair stylist and colorist and always does an amazing job and is super sweet.
Kimberly and Hollie as a pair did a fantastic job at our wedding and our bridesmaids all loved their hair and makeup. My wife and I absolutely loved our hair and makeup and received so many compliments about how great we looked. What was also impressive is how Hollie really took charge when it started getting hectic in the hair/dressing

I've just moved to Marin so was looking for a new hair stylist and found a great deal on Living Social to try out this highly rated salon. I went with the partial highlights, cut and blow dry and was so lucky to get an appointment with Holly.
I'm usually quite picky when it comes to hair but this has been a fantastic experience and Holly did an awesome job. My hair is very fine and I have a volume issue - she got me some great color and new cut in it that makes it look perfect. I'm so in love with it!
