Mark was super sweet, he is very hospitable and gave me chocolate and coffee and tea. He fit me in on the day that I called and worked well with me to be able to come early. He also has a very artistic eye, I wanted my cut and highlights to look very natural, he went above and beyond and explained everything to me as he was doing it because I was curious. My cut and highlight looks SO good!! I would highly recommend!!!

This was my first time getting my haircut with Mark and he is great! Mark is the sweetest person and is so enjoyable to talk to and be around. Mark is a whole vibe and I love it! Mark and I laughed so hard and had so much fun. He was so chill and just an all around cool dude. I came in just for a cut but based on the experience I want to do all the things to my hair! He took his time and really listened to what I wanted. Mark is truly gifted ! He is an incredible artist and so meticulous in his craft. I have difficult hair to work with and he ensured that coloring my hair would not cause any unnecessary damage. Not only did he keep my hair healthy and safe , but he did a beautiful job coloring it! I got a balayage and he wonderfully blended everything together to make it appear natural and seamless. Without using any harsh bleach products he lifted my color in a gorgeous way.
He’s wonderful to talk to and has impeccable music taste as well!

I had my first appointment with Mark yesterday and my hair turned out perfect! It was so amazing that I had to post my first Google review for him. He is very detail oriented and it's obvious he has many years of experience and has mastered the art of hair. I'm always extremely nervous picking a new hairstylist, but Mark was very professional and made me feel confident in his abilities within the first 2-3 minutes of sitting in the chair. Lastly, I want to brag about how friendly and kind Mr. Vang is. We had such a great time chatting that the time just flew by! I will be giving 100% of my business

I have been going to Mark for over a year now, and I'm very impressed. He is very consistent with my hair color, and has never made it look brassy. Since I am platinum blonde, I have to have a hairstylist that I can trust; and, I can definitely say that Mark is that. He is always very kind and makes conversation easy. Not only is he an amazing stylist, but he has also became a great friend. He is more on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for. Wow! What a breath of fresh air! I have struggled to find a good stylist down here in Dallas. I found Mark Vang today and couldn't be happier. Mark does an excellent job. On my first visit, I got a Keratin Protein treatment, which smoothed out my frizzy hair mess and made it so soft and silky. I recently went into have my color touched up and a trim, which I am very pleased with. Mark takes the time to ensure you are happy and is such a great person to talk with. Plus, the purple room and his choices of music rock.

I started going to Mark about 4 months ago. In this time he has turned my hair from a box dye mess into a beautiful balayage. I got a Brazilian blowout done last weekend and my hair has never looked so beautiful. He plays awesome music while you are in his salon and has the best personality. I recomend mark 100 percent! So happy to have found Mister Mark Vang via Yelp! Despite months of staying at home, I had to get my mane tamed and he was just the stylist for the task. I mentioned my hair type and needs and he promptly communicated his next availability and that he booked lots of extra time in case I needed it. Enjoyed nice conversation about music and life in Dallas. Before I knew it (less than 1.5 hour) I was shampooed, dried, flat ironed, cut and layered and out the door! This was my first time going to Mark for a trim and color. He did an amazing job with a hand painted balayage to lift my color and give my hair more life, here is before and after pictures. He has great music playing and a private room, so it was a great overall experience. He’s also very personable and cares about clients. Highly recommend!

I recently moved back to Dallas and started the search for a hairdresser who uses Olaplex. I booked with Mark and he was very accommodating on getting me in quickly and working around my schedule. My hair hadn't been bleached since January due to covid, so I had about 6 inches of grown out roots. During the appointment, Mark and I wore masks the whole time and he only takes one client at a time. I felt like we were as safe as possible! Mark blended my highlights beautifully! I wish I took a before picture. The price was a great value and I'm really happy to have a new Dallas hairdresser

I was so pleased with my experience with Mark. After using box color during stay at home for CV-19, I had orange all throughout my hair. Mark spent time consulting with me and the process to get the brass out was timely. The outcome was amazing. I enjoyed the personal care and Mark is extremely skilled. I called Mark at 8pm on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend with a hair emergency. I needed to get a color correct done the next day and was panicked. Mark asked me several questions over the phone to understand the issue and then asked me to send him photos. He was very calm and told me to come in on SUNDAY (can you believe it?!?!) and he would help me.

Sometimes, too much hype is a good thing. In the case of Mark Vang, it is a very good thing. 2 days ago I went to a woman who completely butchered my hair. I immediately started researching who I could go to to get it fixed, no matter of the cost. Mark's name kept popping to the top of the list. This morning, I called him, explained my situation, and asked if he could possibly get me in TODAY and he did! Then again, he may have just heard the desperation in my voice. Either way, I was ecstatic.

I found him on Yelp and thought this would be a good try sense I needed a new hair stylist and he had good stars.
I found him vary easy. His building is right across from the Walmart on Montfort st. His building is really nice and clean.
I needed a allover color, trim and deep conditioning treatment. I walked in and Mark knew exactly who I was and said hello Kimberly would you like a water and magazine while I get you ready. I said well yes.

Finding a new stylist is a very scary thing. Especially after 20+ years of loyalty to someone else! However, I feel I was extremely lucky to have found Mark!! Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find not only an incredible hair stylist but also a wonderful new friend!
