Services
Established in 1984, Little Gators is located in the Cow Hollow District of San Francisco. Little Gators Preschool is licensed by the California State Department of Social Welfare for children between the ages of 2 and 5. Our goal is to provide your child with a happy, loving, safe, healthy, warm, supportive and stimulating environment that promotes his or her optimal physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.
Barbara Figone Hogan, Director of Little Gators Preschool, received her degree through the College of Marin. Their Preschool Program required extensive hands-on training at many licensed Preschools throughout Marin County. She has also completed courses in Business Administration at San Francisco State University.
Staffed with the Director and two teachers, Little Gators offers three to four-year programs, each appropriate to age level of the children, gradually increases educational levels as children prepare for kindergarten. A variety of activities are designed to provide students with balance between self and teacher-directed projects in various group sizes, in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Play time both indoor and outdoor is equally important at Little Gators Preschool. Through play our children are able to socialize, use their imagination, problem solve and experience the world around them. During play time children can maximize their attention span as they focus on self selected activities.
Little Gators is so excited to announce that we will be launching our Transitional Kindergarten program. We have had a lot of requests for a T-K program over the last few years and we have been having children stay for their second year of Pre-K but not we will be defining this program and launching an official T-K program.

This year is my daughter's second year with Little Gators, and I feel I would be doing all other parents out there a disservice if I didn't share.
This Preschool is amazing! We found Little Gators after an aweful and traumatic couple of days at another school here in the city, and were immidiately blown away by the warmth, wealth of experience and knowledge, and ability to work with every child as an individual regardless of class size.
Barb, Gina and Sam are up to date on their research and are involved in everything the kids do every day. They manage to make every moment productive
