Kirsten the new manager is what this place needed. She even put in a maintenance request for me to fix the lock on my sliding door when she didn't have to. Ryan fixed it the next day. Excellent service. Allowed me to display my flag for veterans day, much appreciated. Very nice . She is pro active in getting things improved here & she's just getting started.

The new property manager here really makes you feel like your concerns are heard and taken care of. She’s gone out of her way to make sure our apartment has gotten all of the updates it needs. I’ve lived here about 5 years and hands down the best manager we’ve had. Great place to live

The new property manager, Kristen, is phenomenal! In the couple months she's been there things have noticeably started to change. My daughter and I appreciate how quiet it typically is in that neighborhood, and it's nice to be within walking distance of downtown Lakeville and bike/walking paths. If you are looking for a more updated apartment, The Oaks would not be for you, but it provides us with everything we need!

I’ve been renting here since 2017 and am overall happy to live here. There have been ups and downs in past years but as of late with the help of new management and maintenance team things are ACTUALLY improving immensely. Our new manager Kristin is super friendly and genuinely cares whenever we have an issue with our unit and the maintenance staff addresses work orders straight away. We had a leak in the kitchen a few weeks ago and they were in to fix it within 5 minutes.
My son enjoys playing at the park here and there’s other friendly young kids for him to play with which is awesome for

Our new property manager is amazing! Things are changing and making this place absolutely wonderful! Kristin has added a really small community type feel to this place. Work gets done fast when you request it.

This apartment building is the worst I have EVER seen! I cosigned for my son and he entered my banking information and transposed one number. I did not have my glasses so I asked the manager if she would check it...yep she said it was fine. Low and behold the next day I get something that I am being charged a little over $100 for a late charge. I went right back in and she could care less. She saw that it was an innocent mistake. One year later he moves out of this dump and he and I clean for nearly 4 hours. Wipe everything down, deep clean the place. Well just received $247 back of the $807 deposit

One of the worst managements. Management enters home unannounced. They like to slide letters into your apartment instead of talking to you. Jessica, the management at Garden Grove is barely in her office and does not respond to messages on time. She lets your messages wait in her inbox for days. She doesn't not answer phone calls unless she thinks it's important.
Apartment is overpriced and overrated. The apartment unit was not up to par. Have spots around the unit that have stains or damages.

Their staff is never there during posted hours. Creepy repair dude has entered my friend salt with out permission twice in one day. Lady who manages it illegally parks in the side lot. Building is literally crumbling. It's near impossible for residents to get packages left in office.

Since I had moved in, this place underwent a management change for the worst. The current management has no sympathy regarding how poorly maintained the place was to begin with. I left the place cleaner than when I found it, but was charged for damage done by previous tenants, including blinds that had already been broken, old contact paper and stains in the kitchen, and general grime build up that had never been cleaned properly from the start. Most of my security deposit is gone, despite the 20+ hours I spent cleaning the place upon move out.

Additionally, they jacked up the rates for monthly

After spotting the exceptionally negative review posted here, I feel I have to leave my own review. We moved into 227 three months ago and our experience thus far has been nothing but positive. The staff are friendly, helpful and accessible. The building is old (built in 1919 or thereabouts) but it looks good for its age, in our opinion. Any old building comes with its own quirks and peculiarities and 227 is no exception - that said, we like our apartment (and the reasonable rent for the neighborhood), and we really like how close it is to work and downtown. As always, potential renters (of any

This placing is simply put a money grubbing company. They take every opportunity possible to try and screw you out of every dollar they can. Here are examples of things they did to me during my one year stay with them.

1. Towed my Step dad's truck that we were using to move in while we were upstairs. THEY EVEN TOLD US IT WAS OKAY TO PARK THERE DURING THE MOVE. We were not reimbursed a cent

2. They made an error about an online rent payment I had made and admitted to the error, but they would NOT revoke my late fee. They forced me to pay it or incur other fees.

3. I pay $100 a month for

Have to agree with the previous review. Lived there for a year and would not do it again. Before moving in there were problems with the apartment
(broken windows, lights weren't working, etc.) I requested that they all be fixed before moving in which they said "no problem!". 1 year later and they still haven't fixed anything at all. I have contacted them over and over again about it but they refuse to do anything. This was a major problem because when it dropped to under 40 degrees last winter it took them over 3 weeks to turn the heat on.

The apartment was fairly spacious

Specialists in ripping renters off.

After I moved out I received my deposit with a charge of $50.00 for a queen mattress that they assumed I left outside.

I do not even own a queen mattress, nor did I leave anything of mine behind when I moved.

I called Misty Walker, the on-site manager, to explain the mistake they had made.
She said, "How am I supposed to know if you did not leave that mattress behind?"

She refused to listen to me and said that there was nothing that she could do, because at Oak Grove Properties, tenants are guilty until proven innocent. I bet she charged
