We are uniquely qualified to offer a choice of nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or I.V. sedation with an anesthesiologist either in the office or the hospital to help insure a pleasant and comfortable visit for your child. Care Credit is available for your convenience. The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.

I've always had good experiences here up until the last few years. My kids have been patients for many years. I take them the recommended time frame because I don't want them to need any major work and or have a fear.

I am so thankful to have found the BEST pediatric dentist in the Bay Area.
My oldest daughter had an accident and needed to get one of her teeth extracted. She was anxious before going into the procedure, but Dr. Navarro made it such a positive experience for her. Dr. Navarro was AMAZING (yes, in all caps) - Dr. N chatted with my daughter, kept her calm and entertained the entire time, which really helped distract her from her nerves.

Awesome place for kids! I have three kids that come here for their check ups. My oldest actually looks forward to going to the dentist. The place is nicely decorated and they have the option to watch a movie or show during the treatment.They even get prizes at the end!
Everyone is wearing masks and the kids have to sanitize their hands before picking prizes. They are also very good about reminding parents via email and text about their upcoming appointments. Scheduling is easy and the staff is friendly.

Dr. Navarro and staff have been so great with my family! My autistic child has been coming here for the past 8 years! Any medical appointments give him very high anxiety and they have been so patient with us to make sure he and I are always comfortable. Anesthesia has had to be used for 2 dental procedures and before hand they were very cautious and attentive to the health of my son. We have always felt very safe and knew that our best interest always came first.

I consider myself lucky in finding a pediatric dentistry that is accommodating to my special needs child as they have ALWAYS gone the extra mile on ensuring our needs are met. My daughter is almost 5 years old now and her teeth are still going strong! She was cavity free the last two check ups and we are just so proud of how much our girl has been caring for her teeth. It validates the decision we made to have Dr. Navarro treat our daughter's teeth. I can't imagine my daughter having no top teeth (as the other dentist we had seen recommended extractions), especially at this age! My kids love going to the dentist because of Dr. Navarro and her staff. They always place the well-being of my children first, ensuring they are comfortable prior to every x-ray, cleaning and procedure they have had since they were toddlers. At the end, my kids leave happy, even after tooth extractions. As for the parent experience, they are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Try refusing an x-ray here and see how many times they try to shove it down your throat. They talk to adults the same way as they do with children, like you didn't understand the first 10 times. No doesn't mean please have 3 people talk to me about it till I say yes.
FACT: X-Rays are harmful to people and radiation builds up in your body over time!
Don't let anyone tell you it is safe because they are not there to protect you from cancer or other ailments down the road. Dentists love to do them because they can bill your insurance all lot for it and guilt you into believing it

Don't bother to make an appointment, they will cancel less than 2 hours before you appointment. Took the day off work for nothing, lost over $150 from work.. just to be canceled on. Unprofessional!

I have been visiting Dr. Navarro since my kids have had their first baby tooth. My oldest child is now 9 years. Ever since I have been coming every 6 month for their cleanings. Dr. Navarro and staff have always been so welcoming, loving and caring. They make any treatment so smooth and explain everything that will be done. My kids are not afraid to visit the dentist. They actually get excited every time!!!
I also love how the insurance process goes so smoothly. Natalie will explain everything and break it down for you to understand.

"I'm impressed" is what came out of my mouth after visiting the dental office. Dr. Navarro does awesome with my son who's a wiggly monkey and my daughter was able to get her braces done in a day with Dr Wong. For busy parents who want the best for their kids -- this is the best dental office. (Oh and they can take care of adults too!!)

This dental office not only failed to make us feel comfortable due to the UNfriendly front desk, but worst of all, they wasted our money that we needed for our daughter's treatment. They wanted to do IV sedation and no way that we will risk the safety and health of our young child!!!
Update: Knowing of the possible side effects of IV sedation and reading/hearing about the tragic incidents that kids have died during/after the procedure, this is something we did not want to risk for our 3 year old. I don't usually write reviews but in this case, I just wanted to rave about Dr. Navarro and her Team. The office looks amazing and the decor is just wonderful. From walking into the lovely reception area, where there are great toys and games for all ages (including a great train table which my son could have played with all day), to the informative and fun intro and info session to show son and daughter (5 and 7) how to brush and floss correctly. We have been to a couple of other Pediatric Dentists and this Practice is in a league of its own. The office is completely geared towards making

We messed up and didn't get our son on a dental insurance policy and he got a few bad carries in his front teeth because we also didn't brush right.
After we finally enrolled him in the policy, we went to a few dental offices trying to find a dentist that had a good plan. Turns out it's not easy to do large dental work on a toddler who's non-cooperative. The child has to be sedated with anesthesia to do it right, and for that, needs to be congestion free. If you have/had a toddler, you know it's hard to stay healthy, with virus season, allergies, and bacteria sharing

My daughter has been going Dr. Navarro's for two years now. She loves going to her dentist. Everyone is so nice. Also found out that they also do braces for kids and adults. I am glad that I found this office. I was able to setup up both braces and checkup appointments for the same day and get everything done in one visit.
My only problem is getting my daughter to leave the office after the appointment :-)
