We first found PKKA in July of 2017 from a fb add. What begin as a 6 week trial quickly became a lifestyle commitment. We love the atmosphere and the people here. I like that it's not just one style of martial arts; my kids learn karate, kick boxing, jujitsu, weapons, and more. It's not about "winning" it's about training to do whatever it takes to make it home at the end of the day.
The Senseis, staff and all of the Cordova family are amazing. They make sure the kids are preforming at home and at school, they care about creating well rounded human beings and a tight community. I would never use

I personally have been training here since fall of 2008. The owners and all who teach/train here become like family. People’s Kenpo Karate helps with confidence, fitness, and of course with learning self defense and traditional martial arts skills for the whole family. A home away from home. A place that is safe. Will be forever grateful I found this dojo!

Peoples Kenpo has changed our kids’ life in an amazing way. Each child is a little different. My oldest son (8 years old) was shy and timid. Peoples Kenpo has given him confidence, courage, and agility. My youngest son (5 years old) was wild and rambunctious. Since joining Peoples Kenpo, he has learned respect and focus. My husband chose to join in the fun and attend the adult classes. He initially joined for the family bonding, but he has gained so much more.

Yes, I am the first to not give People's Kenpo Karate 5 stars. I will start off by saying that I had originally loved this place. The thing is that, ~3.5 years ago, we were abruptly relocated out after I paid for another 6 month membership but not before we had begun that 6 months of classes. (After having been a part of the People's Kenpo Karate for several years already I didn't fill out new paperwork, etc.) Since I had already paid they declined to refund my money. At the time I was informed if we moved back to the Denver metro area we could start the new 6 months then. We are

Peoples Kenpo has, by far, the best facilities and people (senseis and member families) around. Our 3 kids have gained strong self-defense skills, discipline, grit/perseverance, as well as lifelong friendships within the dojo community. My husband and daughter will be testing for black belt this year and it will be a true sense of accomplishment knowing they've earned it (some dojos are "belt factories," whereas a black belt from PKK is highly respected). The teachers at our younger kids' elementary school even comment on how wonderful the kids from this dojo are in their classrooms. Well worth

True community at Peoples Kenpo!!! Can't believe how lucky we got finding this dojo. Our family initially joined because it was nearby and the facilities were really impressive - clean, great class schedule/options. We quickly learned that the program & curriculum are among the best in the nation; but more impactful to our family is the quality of people/friends we found there. It's a diverse membership with the common theme of respect and helping one another succeed--not just in karate but in all areas of life. We joined about 3 years ago when our kids were 3, 8, and 12. My number one favorite thing about Peoples Kenpo, is the fact that this is family operated and not a big box karate chain.
I enrolled my daughter a little over three years ago and I love everything about Peoples Kenpo. The Sensei's are amazing to the kids, The children respect them from day one and the sensei's also know when to kid around with them and when to be serious.
My daughter was having a really hard time at home with respecting us and lots of attitude. The Sensei's came together and helped turn her around. I have never regretted bringing her. She is now a brown belt and

My grandson is 7. He's been going to Peoples Kenpo Karate since he was 3. He loves going there. He has become more focused and has such confidence & compassion for a 7 year old. These are lessons that are taught & demonstrated every day at the dojo. As a 3 year old he learned to listen & pay attention. Now he has grown to be in the black belt club. I'm always amazed at how they know all the kids names They are family owned & you can see the pride & genuine affection they have for each of the kids. Lessons here are fun yet effective. Peoples Kenpo Karate has been a wonderful experience for our 12-year-old. Not only is she learning various disciplines within martial arts, she is more disciplined, respectful, self reliant, and focused in all other areas of her life. The instructors are very accomplished and do a great job working with their students. I would highly recommend People's Kenpo Karate.

This school has talented and caring instructors who make learning fun! My 10 year old son has shown great improvements in his behavior at home and in school, since beginning his training at Peoples Kenpo. Being in Karate gives him a sense of pride and purpose, and I credit this school with instilling this in him. Very affordable pricing as well.

Peoples Kenpo Karate offers a program that is perfectly tailored to my son’s needs. The staff have become great role models for him in just a few short weeks. They have laid a foundation for focus, discipline, respect and core strength that we are encouraged to use at home. My kiddo loves to go to karate!
