Bringing your pet to one of our veterinarians for a physical exam is the smartest and easiest way to keep them healthy. Exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues and allergies.
At Burke Veterinary Clinic, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets. Our on-site lab includes CBC and Chemistry blood machines. Diagnostic imaging allows us to examine your pet's internal organs and body systems to better diagnose their conditions.

This is just a wonderful clinic. I had a very sick kitty who required multiple vet visits this year. Each and… every time we took him in, we got excellent care from start to finish. Dr. Alt did an amazing job explaining treatment options and he was so compassionate when we lost our beloved cat. When your furry friend can’t tell you what is wrong, you want to take them to someone you can trust. I have two other cats and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else for care.

I was with Burke Veterinary Clinic for 18+ years. I adored Dr. Alt. Then Something went wrong--not sure what. He sold the practice; was never available; wasn't the caring Dr. Alt my dogs and I had known to love.
Recently we had issues with our last dog, Charlie. I phoned sobbing that Charlie was not doing good, I wanted to bring him in and I… think it was time to put him down. I was told by Esther that "the doctor didn't have any time for Charlie plus they were getting new computers tonight so if you want to put your dog down you need to go to Regional Vet Referral Center to have this done

We highly recommend Burke Vet Clinic and Dr. Alt! As soon as we brought home our new puppy, he had some serious complications that resulted in emergency surgery. Dr. Alt and the staff were with us every single step of the way. I never expected having to call an office so many times for a sick puppy, and I also never expected the personalized care and attention we received from Dr. Alt. Five stars from us!

Burke Vet Clinic is the best. Kind, compassionate, I've been bringing my pets here for years. My dogs actually seem to enjoy coming, at least for their wellness check ups. Prices seem reasonable as well. When you have a problem and leave an after hours message Dr At always calls back quickly. I feel like my "babies" are in good hands here.
