Village Veterinary Clinic
Dr. Lonam has always gone above and beyond for the care of our family's pets for several years. For many people, pets are members of the family. You give them the same care you give yourself. At Village Veterinary Clinic in Burke, VA, we know how important your pets are to you. Our team has been caring for Burke area animals for over 30 years.

Dr. Lonam, a 1978 graduate of Washington State University Veterinary School, and his wife, Anne, purchased the clinic in 1987. Our current veterinary associates include Dr. Jillian Gimmy, a 2020 graduate of Virginia Tech Veterinary School, and Dr. Cate Adsit, a 1981 graduate of Cornell University Veterinary School.
Services
Village Veterinary Clinic was established in 1985 as a satellite clinic to a larger area practice. At the time, Dr. John Lonam was working as a relief veterinarian. Impressed with Dr. Lonam's veterinary knowledge and surgical skills, and cognizant of his well-established reputation in the veterinary community, VVC's owner approached Dr. Lonam and his wife, Anne, with an offer to buy the practice.

The internet is a wealth of information - so much so that sometimes locating quality websites can be challenging. Since 1946, the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria has been a resource for the community and a shelter for homeless animals. They facilitate adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, education and community service and outreach, and play a key role in promoting responsible pet care across Northern Virginia.

I came here for over 13 years, have had good experiences overall with the vets. Had enough negative experiences lately I'm moving on and adjusting my review.

Family vet for years, even when I moved briefly I drove 3 hours to go to them rather than switch vets for a year. They're wonderful.

Friendliest service I have ever received from a vet. They squeezed me in for an appointment the day of because they were concerned about my cat. The vet gave me his personal number to contact anytime and they continued to call and text to check in on us days after our appointment. They really care here! And the prices were absolutely reasonable. Thanks Village Veterinary Clinic!

Staff is very attentive to my and my dog's needs. They are very pleasant to talk to and great at customer service. It's hard not to notice how much they love working with four legged furry ones. Love Dr. Kim and staff at the counter. One star is taken off because I feel like at my last visit, I felt a little bit rushed, which I dislike about doctor's office visit, but they seemed busy.

I moved here from Texas and found Village Vet online. Everyone, doctors and staff, ares very professional, helpful, and attentive. The quality of care is top notch and the prices are very competitive, much lower than I was quoted by other vet clinics. Overall, a great value and I will continue to use and recommend them.
