With that said, at the time, there was only one protein bar that met those criterion, Rise's Almond Honey Protein bar. Over the past few years, other protein bars have come out that I've recommended to clients depending on their goals and today I will be listing 7 of those bars. 1 - A lot of these protein bars are not easy to find in your local stores.

Specialized health food stores and Amazon sell them, but Amazon usually sells them at a high price for a protein bar ($3-$4 per bar). If you live in Hoboken though, all of them can be found at Basic Foods (off of 2nd and Washington), except for Rise protein bar.

John is unlike any personal trainer I've met. He has a deep knowledge and understanding of principles that underlie both the physical and psychological components of fitness. He has a holistic vision of wellness that I see frequently in yoga instructors and rarely in personal trainers. John connects and motivates in a very authentic and sincere way that inspires to be our best selves.

Joining your program last January has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only am I down over 20 lbs and lost several inches, but I've become so much healthier and stronger, and gained so much self-confidence. I've also become part of an awesome community, and have met some amazing friends. You really have pushed me to challenge myself, now both in the studio and out. So, thank you!!!!

My favorite part of training with John is the individualized workouts that are geared to my specific needs. Through John's leadership and motivation, I never feel overwhelmed by the workouts he creates for me.

John is incredibly knowledgeable! As an educator, I appreciate and value the time John takes to teach me about the various workout routines and the affect it will have on my body. Additionally, he takes the time to review my daily food log and holds me accountable for taking the necessary steps I need though my nutrition in order for me to reach my goals.
