Attended my HOA meeting tonight for Sylvans Crossing. Our new Property manager/owner, Avelino, (at his first meeting with us) said in open form, that he wanted to “end the meeting, eat and go to bed. (eluding that our meeting was bothering him) And we pay this company for this service?? Avid is the absolute worst property management company in the business.

The President and board members decided to remove our beautiful trees that needed manicuring, and attention. The President hired someone without insurance or license. The President received a 20k from the board (President resigned from the board), and she’s not visible or answering phone calls. The association intends to give CK another large sum of money.

My problem is with how the association is run! The board president did a terrible landscape job for the association without insurance, a business license or workers comp. Lots of the plants were stolen. They did lots of damage. The river oaks 1 association has to pay to have the job done again but avid paid the board present and she just quit and disappeared with 20k of association money. The association intends to pay her another large sum of association money.

I wish their was a now star option for these people. Before hiring them go knock on some of their customers doors. They are terrible. They don't answer the phone or return emails. The lady running the office is rude. The property manager dose not check the property.

Beware of this company!!!
They gave the president of our association $20000.00 and she resigned and has moved out of the association.
They don't budget the associations money right and plan a special assessment even though they had $20k to give the president of the association.
They took money out of reserves without following legal procedures.
They don't properly fund the reserves.
They don't hold legal elections so that they can keep people on the board who will not fire them
They don't answer the phone most of the time but when they do they are nasty to you.

I’ve been a homeowner for less than THREE months and the experience from the Community Manager, Maria Senica, has been unpleasant. She is so unprofessional and extremely rude. Any time I’ve emailed her a concern or a question, her responses are dry, short, and ultimately rude. If she treats me like this, I can only imagine how she treats other people. She acts like it’s an inconvenience to reach out to her and acts like she is above everybody else. A reference picture is being attached. I was emailing her to ask why I received a violation for something that everybody in the community is doing

Maria Senica refuses to understand the role the homeowners have when it comes to her role. There has been no official release of the boards full names / contact info to the homeowners. All correspondence must go through Maria. If a homeowner has a grievance there is no committee to address. Homeowners are only invited to elections. (This year no meetings for homeowners to attend were offered.) Must be the culture of the company. Two of the three board members knew that a member of our household had a medical diagnosed Bee Allergy and they had the landscapers remove the non- bee attracting plants

Not responsive to calls for service. The pool has been closed for a couple of months in the middle of the summer! Customer Service kept hanging up on me when I called!! When I called before they said it was a breaker but now saying it's the pump. I am paying over $400 a month and unable to swim laps in the gorgeous pool!!!

This morning my wife walked out our front door to leave for work and her car was missing….there was no notice or warning or communication that her car was gone. She immediately panicked and her anxiety caused her to get physically ill. She wanted to call 911 but I immediately realized Avid Property Management, Maria Senica and our HOA Board of Directors Edison Zapato, Timothy Harris, and Guelmis Yanes ( All of which names are public record with a simple internet search) had authorized Split Second Towing to come in to our community and make assessments as to cars that are violating their perceived

AVOID AVID IF YOU CAN. We bought a property managed by Avid and realized we weren't part of the HOA because the seller's realtor didn't include the paperwork as part of the closing. We tired to get access to the HOA online and it wasn't granted. We called and spoke with Rhonda and she thought all was good since we had our HOA dues set up to come out of our escrow, well then she finds out they don't even take escrow so she says they'll send us everything in the mail (funny note, when I called she had all our information intertwined with the former owners) The issue

Avid manage's my community and the person who manages my company tries to run it like a dictator.
Avid employee (Maria) was an ex Cop and wants to boss people around. Asking people that owns homes what are they doing when walking their dog. "Harassment and unprofessional".
Sends fines to folks for putting out garage cans on the night before. Speaks aggressively (unprofessionally) and very unpleasantly mean to Home owners that employees them. Very argumentative!!!

Avid is the Best ! We used them twice. Once from condo to storage, then to new condo.
Cliff is the so detailed, on time, accommodating
And takes time to wrap and treat your furniture, belongings with great respect without wasting time.
Cliff and his team show up and prepared exactly on time. We are so fortunate to have Avid refered to us.
Debbie in the office is super !
She works with our schedule and our needs.
Ruth from Suncoast Cleaning Management company refered us and it was excellent.
Even in covid mist, this company is do professional.

Maria Seneca is incredibly unprofessional and unfortunately she makes Avid look bad as a whole. She does not want to take the time to hear your concerns or offer you any help Which is exactly the opposite of her job description. Avoid this place at all costs until upper management makes changes. 0 OUT OF 5 STARS!!!!!

ZERO STARS I own a condo managed by avid I went to the office today because my roof has a leak and it caused my ceiling to fall in multiple areas I have been trying to contact the manager of my property since Friday to have someone help with this issue since my HOA is responsible for the roof leak the only response I received was to inform me that my roof is only 3 years old and she isn't aware of any leaks... yeah I'm making you aware since my ceiling is falling!!! AVID manages the property at a new townhome I recently purchased. They have been helpful, both with questions before the purchase... and service after the purchase. When I need something I can call them, and if they don't have the answer, they quickly point to someone who does. They also make it easy to purchase things like gate remotes and extra pool keys. Very happy with them to date!

We have a home in a great town house development with higher end monthly dues. The negative part of the development, is the property manager. The service from Avid Property Management is awful and unacceptable. Their customer service is non existent and the customer service agent is extremely rude and understands nothing about service. I have noticed some of the quality of maintenance has dropped; including the landscaping, pest control, and even the cleanliness of walkways is subpar for this type of development.
