Nakita and Stephan's desert wedding in Joshua tree was the absolute finest expression of a minimalist wedding. Every detail was carefully envisioned by the couple who are also amazing wedding photographers from New Zealand. Their close family and friends flew to join them to celebrate their dream wedding.
We are based out of Los Angeles and Baja, Mexico. We live between those 2 cities. Most of our work is based in Mexico and the USA, but we have shot weddings in Greece, Indonesia, Korea, and Brazil. Having visited more than 40+ countries, travel is not an issue for us. All mobility costs to USA and Mexico are included in our packages.

We are SO happy that we selected The Times We Had to photograph our wedding!!! Our photos came out PHENOMENAL and we have so many amazing photos to choose from!!! I love their aesthetic. They are great at capturing real moments and also great at creating artistic images that are unique to each couple. Kary and Tae made our day SO SPECIAL. They were so calm and attentive. The time we spent photographing with them for our couples shots was so magical. They got great candid shots throughout the night. I HIGHLY recommend them! Worth every penny.

We had a very small and intimate wedding. We emphasized how we didn’t care much about the wedding, but it was really important to us to have beautiful pictures to remember our special day by. Tae really delivered for us! We had such an amazing experience! We were nervous and awkward, but Tae was calm, friendly, mindful, professional, and honest. I could not recommend The Times We Have team enough. They were professional yet personable, meticulous yet artistic, so reliable and easy to work with from the beginning to the very end. The BEST experience ever with The Times we Have!! It was both of our first time taking professional photos and we were a little nervous but Tae made us feel so comfortable and confident. TTWH are truly amazing! Due to Covid-19, we had to reschedule our wedding many times and throughout this stressful/uncertain time, Tae and Kary were so understanding and supportive. Tae travelled all the way to Hawaii for our intimate celebration/elopement shoot, and throughout the photoshoot, he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. He was so helpful with all the needs we had that day, and he made this day so memorable and fun!

Kary and Tae from The Times We Have were absolutely incredible for our wedding! Due to COVID-19, so many complicated issues came about for my fiancé and I to celebrate our special weekend. However, both Kary and Tae were extremely flexible, understanding, and fun to work with! As an Indian couple, my fiancé and I had to spread wedding events over a whole weekend in smaller, intimate places rather than your traditional large beautiful venue.

TTWH was very responsive through emails, conveniently scheduled an online meeting pre-day of event, convenient payment system, very clear contract and expectations laid out. Our original wedding plans were out the question (2020!), but was able to reschedule for 2021.
We got photos about 2 weeks after the event, and photos came out great! Most of it was shot indoors, and I was wondering if there was enough light- but TTWH truly worked some magic

Tae, Kary & Alfred went above and beyond for us for our wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We couldn't have chosen a better team to capture all the special moments for our big day. Not only are they the kindest people but they have a stellar fashion eye. We absolutely loved our experience with The Times We Have and would 100% recommend them. They covered our wedding in San Miguel de Allende and the pictures we've seen so far have exceeded our expectations. We chose them because of their unique aesthetic, seriously, take a look through their portfolio!
