Services
Cornell Road Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Preventive Medicine: We recommend an annual wellness exam where our veterinarians will go over your pet from nose to tail. Based on their thorough exam findings the veterinarian will provide information on the way to best deal with your pet's nutritional needs, dental care, vaccinations, flea & tick prevention, as well as any other concerns you may have regarding your pet.
Dr. Gordon graduated from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in1990 after receiving an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Northwestern University. He started working at Walnut Street Veterinary Clinic in 1995, and brought the clinic to it's new location on Cornell Road in 2011.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available.
Our office opens at 7:30 am weekdays to admit patients who are being scheduled to be dropped off for surgery or procedures. We can be contacted by phone beginning at 7:30 am on weekdays. If you call and are transferred to voicemail feel free to leave a detailed message and we will give you a call back as soon as someone is available.

I like this clinic! Our Dr. Thompson is very patient, give my super-reactive stressed dog time to adjust, get calm - and only after that she examines the dog. I really appreciate it!
