Galia Aharoni presented two practical and relatable workshops in our area (San Diego) this past weekend. Small Business Series: (1)The Retired Entrepreneur and (2) Tech Security.
The information was presented clearly and simply enough that I could understand it, and was/is extremely valuable. I learned some very important details about how to protect my assets, taxes, insurance, etc. that I had never even thought of for my own business. I don't know if I'll ever find the right word to describe how wonderful this firm is. I'm in the process of starting a new business. I had a really awful experience setting up my specialty business with a certain unnamed online legal agency. To keep it brief, they promised they could work out some of the finer details in my specific situation, and in the end I was left high and dry. I've talked to the lawyers at HG for a couple of different issues, and they've always been really helpful.
They helped me figure out how to avoid some potential legal issues with working with volunteers and independent contractors. After talking to them, I was able to tighten up my business a little bit so I could be more comfortable knowing I wouldn't get sued or in trouble somehow. They focus a lot on preventing problems ahead of time instead of waiting for something to go wrong, which I really appreciated for my business and saved me a lot of potential money down the road.

My partner and I were creating a startup, and we went to talk to Galia at HG. She helped us figure out what type of entity we should create, and how to set up the business. We talked a lot about how to protect ourselves from liability in the future.

HG helped me out with some employment issues I was having with work. They explained all my options with the pros/cons of each, giving me the choice to decide what to do. They were upfront about the costs, so I didn't feel like they were adding extra hourly fees. I'd recommend them if you have any employment or business issues.
