I didn't get help. In essence the state can treat their workers any way they want and get away with it! Pay you when they want, hire outsiders over loyal employees, punish you when you get injured, blah blah blah. CA is an at-will state, remember this when applying with them for employment, especially Permanent Intermittent positions!

Angela and Arthur were great when it came to a review of a separation agreement with a former employer.

Within a few short days we quickly built rapport, reviewed documentation, and developed an opinion on my situation. I found these guys because of a sudden ex-employer spat. Within two business days they had received the information they needed and provided me with short-term and long-term options for free. Morgan and Arthur are very intelligent, professional, knowledgeable regarding employment law, and great listeners. I found Lazear Mack on Yelp and I decided to give them a call to see if I had a case. From my first call, to visiting them in their office and to the very end of my case, the whole team had been very helpful and very nice. I contacted Lazear Mack when I was dealing with a recent problem regarding unsafe working conditions and questionable pay of hours at one of my jobs. Angela picked up the phone for my call and she was super helpful! She listened to every detail and was very patient even though I called half an hour before closing. After many, many years of employment, I found myself in a situation that I never saw coming. I was in such turmoil, not knowing what to do.
