Attorney Torres led the litigation as a Deputy County Counsel that allowed for removal of all blighted property via the appointment of a Special Receiver, a lawsuit filed against the owners of the property to successfully recover the cost of demolition and receivership, as well as leading to criminal charges.

Martin is good lawyer, who handled my case very professionally. He followed up with my case, was responsive throughout and gave me plenty of time to take care of my payment plan which was much needed in this hard times. Martin is very knowledgeable in his craft. He also came up with a good plan B in case it all went side ways which kept me at ease . Martín Cavares is definitely someone I trust and he is definitely very good at the practice of law.
He made me feel as the situation wasn’t as serious as I had originally believed it to be (other lawyer fear-mongered) furthermore, Martin successfully got us the outcome we were hoping for and in just one court appearance!!
Between Martin’s calm demeanor and his friendly persona, I can honestly say that Martin “walks the talk and talks the talk too!’
He understands: law, people, and language! Since he is fluent in both English and Spanish (probably more!)

I would like to thank Martin Caraves and Associates in defending a family member against false Domestic Violence charges. Originally we were faced with four felony charges but his team was able to get them down to only two misdemeanors.
