For the past 40 years, caring for our clients and their pets has been the number one priority for Cornelia and Clarkesville Veterinary Hospitals. Cornelia Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing high quality and compassionate veterinary care to our community. At Cornelia Veterinary Hospital, we strive to bring your pet the best healthcare possible.

You have thanked us by voting our hospitals Habersham County's best every year. We want to thank all of our clients for this, but even more, thank you for trusting us with the health and care of your pets for all these years. We wouldn't be anything without it. Our staff and doctors will do this with a cheerful and caring spirit, always dedicated to treating our clients and patients as we would our own family and pets.
Services
Since the 60's, Cornelia Veterinary Hospital has provided high quality and compassionate veterinary services to the communities of beautiful northeast Georgia. We are a multiple doctor mixed-animal practice with the added bonus of being affiliated with Clarkesville Veterinary Hospital that is staffed 24 hours for emergencies.
Cornelia Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer your pet companion(s) day boarding services for dogs, cats and exotics. We take pride in providing a true home away from home for your companion(s). We are very proud to offer exceptional boarding with the huge advantage of having a large veterinary staff on hand if your animal needs medical attention while here boarding.
Cornelia Veterinary Hospital is lucky to be partnered with Clarkesville Veterinary Hospital. Clarkesville Veterinary Hospital is a full service 24 hours a day emergency hospital for large animals, small animals, and exotics. They have a veterinary assistant on staff 24 hours a day who is dedicated to the individual needs of every hospitalized patient.
In recent years, exotic pets have become more and more popular. Birds, ferrets, reptiles, guinea pigs, rabbits and rodents make wonderful companions and they need attention too! We recommend that you bring your new pet in for a thorough physical examination when you first obtain it. This will help to ensure that your new pet is healthy and we can help to educate you about all aspects of caring for an exotic pet.
Puppy and Kitten exams are important to ensure your new family member is healthy and free of any congenital abnormalities. An exam is also beneficial to monitor their growth rate and check for any sign of illness. Vaccines pick up when mother's nursing immunity starts to end. Vaccinations are important to build a healthy immune system in your new puppy or kitten.

I enjoyed talking to the vet after Max's visit. I am how ever looking forward to being able to bring him in myself and meet the vet. So please get this started soon. Max is my baby and he is nervous without me.

Both of my kittens were well taken care of. They have done great after their surgery. A follow up call was made the next day to check on them which I appreciate very much.

I can't say enough how much Cornelia Vetenarian means to my family. They have always treated me and my fur babies with the utmost respect and live. Each and every person I have encountered has shown their commitment and love for fur babies. They have always been available when I needed them. I will never use another Vet as long as Cornelia Vetenarian is in business.

Alex and The DR who was working Saturday July 10th .... with my means of financial support are very slim to none, I had 76 dollars to my name and they both took my taco (cat) did the exam , gave IV fluids , gave some vitamins for him to come home with. Unfortunately we don’t have the means to X-ray or do blood work and the outcome still doesn’t look promising for taco , they were still there for him when no other vet in the surrounding area even had a care in the world to even remotely see him. But she took time out of her busy day on a Saturday to say the least and just tried to help the best

I now have to drop off and can't see the vet but do get to talk to her. I was satisfied with the visit. I would like to know when we are going to be able to bring our animals in and actually see the vet.

Megan Whitney and Dr. Hall are the absolute best. My German Shepard puppy (Nico) broke a few toes and I was worried since he wouldn’t put any pressure on his foot at all. I was super nervous about prices and spending an arm and a leg. Megan was fantastic with Nico while assuring me everything was going to be fine and that he was in great hands. The doctor called me before she did anything giving me prices and letting me know everything that was going on and what would be the next step making sure it was okay to go ahead. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else. They genuinely care about our pets

They took in my Momma Bear dog and gave her the best care possible. They also followed up to see how she was doing. This is the second fur baby of mine that they loved and cared for. I trust them completely!!
