Services
Dr. Emily Underwood grew up in Clarkesville, Georgia. She graduated from Habersham Central High School before attending the University of Georgia, where she studied wildlife biology. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, and she is very excited to be the proud new owner of Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.
Our baths will remove dirt, debris and that doggie/kitty odor. Your pet will leave feeling refreshed and smelling and feeling great! If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents to help stop the itching. Our standard bath includes a nail trim and ear cleaning in addition to the bath.
Keeping your pet's teeth clean is important to their life-long health and happiness. Just as with humans, regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's dental health. We are here to help you keep your pets' teeth and gums healthy. Our clinic offers teeth cleaning to keep gums healthy and prevent tooth loss.
Diagnostic ultrasound is a great tool in veterinary medicine. This state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves rather than radiation (as used in x-rays) to thoroughly examine specific internal organs. It is a pain-free, non-invasive way for veterinarians to diagnose many problems with your beloved pet.

They have the kindest staff and took such good care of my baby Charlie that had to be laid to rest. Very professional, caring, and understanding. Will continue to take my other cat here and recommend them to anyone. 10/10

Dr. Underwood went above and beyond for our fur baby. She was so helpful, kind, responsive, and she made a huge effort to accommodate us and our needs. I don’t trust just anyone with our dog, but Dr. Underwood and her staff are the bomb.

They were very thorough working with our 2 cats. Liked the vet and the waiting area. We came early for our appointment as asked. Wait to see the vet was longer than expected approximately 15 minutes, no reason for the delay was given. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. We were new patients.
