The Latino Healthcare Forum Calendario Comunitario initiative provides community members access to events and resources. The focus of the campaign is focused on the Hispanic, including Spanish-speaking community.

The Latino HealthCare Forum's vision is a nation free of disparities in health and healthcare. Our goals include: 1 Supporting a positive transformation of the healthcare system and building a high-value healthcare system that requires insuring the uninsured, making coverage more secure for those who have it and improving the quality of care for all.

Our LHCF project is about communities and individuals harnessing local resources and expertise to help themselves. We believe that by bringing resources and enhancing individual's skills we can help develop infrastructure with service providers and residents to empower the Rundberg community.
In 2015 the LHCF implemented and presented the (CHA) Community Health Assessment, community members were key part of a lengthy qualitative and quantitative analysis of the community, the same year we hosted a Hackathon under the Center for Healthy Communities.

Promotores are our answer to the nation's growing disparity between the racial and ethnic composition of the healthcare workforce and that of the U.S. population. Promotores are volunteer community members and paid frontline public health workers who are members of and/or have an unusually close understanding of a particular community, such as Hispanic/Latino communities.
Reach people outside of traditional health settings such as schools, work sites, health care facilities, and within communities. Integrate the Latino Healthcare Forum's Community Health Workers (CHWs) into community based efforts to prevent chronic disease. Focus on priorities for healthier living with strategies that focus on tobacco free living, active living, and healthy eating, and high-impact.
