After moving to Reno right out of high school, I knew I had a passion for doing other people's hair, I dreamed of a career that would allow me the freedom of owning my own business and eventually have a family with a great work and life balance, so I enrolled myself in beauty school and became a licensed cosmetologist in 1998.
One of my favorite parts of being a hair and makeup artist is special events hair and makeup. It really allows me to use all of my creativity and artistic talents outside of cutting and coloring. I've done so many beautiful weddings, and also hair and makeup for commercials, some print work, a music video and a movie called Brevity!

Amber has been a god-send! She has taken my hair from bottle red to a beautiful blonde. Her hair cutting skills are incredible. Because of the care she takes with lightening and those scissor skills I've grown my hair out longer and stronger. The cost is amazing for the quality of work you receive. I would definitely recommend her.

After searching for a year or more for a new hairstylist, because my stylist moved out of town, to no avail I could not find anyone in town with the proper skills and talent to do a pixie cut. Apparently it is very difficult to find someone with that kind of experience. After many bad short haircuts, claiming they can do a pixie cut, I would walk away looking and feeling dreadful! Having to wait once again till my short hair grew out enough to yet again find a stylist with the proper skills to do a pixie cut.
