We were 100% pleased with the job done by Logan for our inspection. He was very thorough and paid such attention to detail… finding things we had totally overlooked on our own. Joe was extremely thorough during his time at the house and also spent a great deal of time talking through everything with my wife and I later in the day. I’ve even shared a copy of the report with some of my friends & family and they have all commented on how thorough the report was and wished they had that kind of inspection done on their home!

Hands down the best in the business and let me tell you why. Matt and his guys are top notch and it shows on their reports. They leave no stone unturned when they do the inspections. This includes getting on the roof or going in the attic at the peak of the AZ summer, crawling into those tight spaces under a mobile or manufactured home, and even finding items like hollow sounding tiles on the floor. They also offer Thermal imaging which saved my buyer a ton of money as we found quite a bit of shifted insulation in the main living room, and have connections for other important inspections like a

I’m a real estate agent and always give my clients options when they don’t know what inspection company to use. First Step is always in the list of those options and about 90% of my clients end up going with them; they are always prompt, communicative and very thorough! Matt always works with mine and my clients schedule, I’ve worked with them for the past 6 months and I will continue working with them forever!! They are AMAZING. We purchased a home and used First step for our inspection via recommendation of our realtor. We found several issues after the closing which led me to contact Matt to find some reasonable resolution. He would not move or even be open to any constructive conversation. At issue was the inspector missed a roof leak into the kitchen cabinets, which were almost empty, his excuse was kitchen ware could have been in the way. It was NOT! The worst inspector/company I have dealt with in my nearly 30 years for selling real estate!! My family was on vacation when the inspection took place on Dec. 24th, the house was shut down, meaning all HVAC units were off, house locked etc. Mr. Jenks left ALL4 units in cold/heat mode for 10 days burning up electric and gas in an empty house but he claims he left them the way he found them. SO NOT TRUE, WE DONT EVEN USE THE COOL/HEAT SETTINGS. instead he want to claim I'm "extorting" him for money. He broke the BBQ light fixture that was working fine for the last 5 years and doesn
