Our wedding venue (The Langham Huntington) required us to have a wedding planner and provided a list of preferred vendors to choose from, and Blush Events was one of them. But, honestly, I saw no value in hiring a wedding planner at the beginning. To me, getting one was just extra money that we had to spend. Oh, boy, was I wrong. Like many of you who are reading this, I was also a first-timer with no experience in marriage/wedding whatsoever. But, as our wedding date approached, I saw the actual value of having a fantastic wedding planner and coordinator.

Although my wedding was postponed due to COVID-19, they remained calm, took over the situation and went above and beyond for us with rescheduling. Our wedding was very DIY. We had to do everything from building out a portable kitchen, lighting, and decorating the venue. We are so glad we went with Blush events to help us plan our wedding. Blush Events is the BEST!!! I don't know what I would have done without them. I never thought about my dream wedding, dress, or venue before so I had no idea what to do when I got engaged. Most people have some vision of what their dream wedding looks like but I never thought of it before so I was really lost. MJ was recommended to us by one of our other vendors as someone familiar with our venue. Being a very type A person that already had every detail planned out (or so I thought), I was a bit iffy on whether I needed a planner or not. After a very thorough consultation with MJ, I was immediately excited to work with her for the day of. But wow - I have no words to express how much she went above and beyond. We were supposed to have our wedding before covid but due pandemic our wedding push back twice and we finally had after the vaccines in the end of May. I first learned about MJ through instagram (if you haven't seen her instagram, you have to check out @blush.events) There were so many amazing wedding photos, just what my dream wedding would be! So I ended up contacting MJ for my wedding. MJ helped me find the perfect venue. She has amazing connections in LA, which opened up a lot of options. Unfortunately, I had to change my wedding plans due to COVID and MJ was very accommodating with it. I would definitely recommend working with MJ when planning wedding in LA.

I just had my wedding in Los Angeles a week ago and what can I say - MJ and her team made our entire wedding experience PERFECCTTT. My husband and I live in New York and MJ helped us plan and coordinate our wedding cross country. Although MJ is considered a month out coordinator, she was very responsive and answered all our questions even a year leading up the wedding. Not very many coordinators would do that willingly or at no cost!!!
