Mario's Northend Pizzaria

Let me preface this review with I am from the nyc area. Apparently my definition of pizza is slightly different from New England. I ordered two pies one plain one with sausage. The pies are 14”, that’s tiny. They cook them so hot the cheese gets burned. The sauce tasted burned and like it was all tomato paste. I didn’t give one star because we ate it, it was edible, but I have had better pizza in airports. Also ordered a veal parm, I think I am still burping that up. All in all best part of the meal was the bottle of wine from midway liquors.

Good menu, great service. Chef took extra step of grilling the calamari rather than breading and frying to accommodate gluten free diet.

I ask for my pizza to be cooked lite.i called and the woman argued with me saying the cooks said it was lite!
IT WAS BURNT!!!
Mario sold the business and the food is not how he would of made ! I have been a customer for 10 years and I would not recommend anymore!

First time ordering from here, got delivery. We were a bit nervous because the phone ordering was a little crazy- but we were pleasantly surprised!
The Northend Combo pizza was the best pizza that I have had in years. It was cooked well done, just as ordered. Delivery was quick and friendly.

No doubt about it, it's the best pizza place in town. Friendly staff, and accommodating always. Owner is always greeting his customers and food is always good.

Great food! Great prices. Love the variety of food you can get! My family usually does pizza Tuesday where they have a large cheese pizza for $6. (usually very busy Tuesday night) Love the deals! Very friendly staff. Owner is also very friendly. One of my favorite places to eat!

Words cannot truly describe the pizza here, not only is it my favorite, since working near here, and living a hour away, but it brings me joy and awe on the way it reminds me of my childhood pizza place, and it simply is worth a visit.
The wonderful food here has a special place in my heart and when ever I can is my go to spot. Period.

My names Derek I’ve lived in Westerly for about six years now and I can say with absolute certainty this is the best pizza place in town! not only do they have the straight up best pepperoni pizza in the city, they also have the best buffalo chicken pizza and buffalo wings in all of Westerly, everywhere else has dry wings and dry pizza not here plenty of sauce plenty of flavor and the people that work there are always extremely nice, can’t say enough good things about Mario’s

Great "old school" pizzeria with full bar and private room used for parties. Great place for kids birthdays thanks to that private room being closed off (no kids wandering off is always a bonus) and packed with arcade games. My son just celebrated his 9th birthday as we choose to have his party at Mario's and we had a blast. The cost to rent the room was reasonable and included food and game tokens for everyone. Note: the tokens go fast so be prepared to find yourself shoving money into the little machine)
