We had 24 hours to have a home inspection done on 100 year old house which we were considering purchasing. We had tried multiple home inspection agencies and none were able to accommodate our needs. Oh did I mention it was the weekend? To our delight home Pro was able to accommodate us the next day, Sunday. Ryan came out and inspected the home over the course of the entire morning with us peering over his shoulder. He took the time to explain what what he was doing . Their back office sucks. We had paid for several items online, in advance, then got these cursory emails saying that things were not paid for, therefore may not appear on the report despite being paid. Even the day before the inspection there were outstanding items.
The inspector/inspection was not bad quality, they highlighted some very minor issues that the home warranty company policy they provide (RWS) used in anger against us in not covering or spending $$$ before they would honor a claim.

Buyer beware. This would be a one-star review if it weren't for the fact that the first home that they inspected for me was good- which is why I hired them a second time.

Absolutely awful. They came to inspect the place and left all the lights on for hours in the house, pool, and any and all lights we had. They broke the filter sometime during examining. They used our ladder and didn't even put it back, they just left it there. We didn't even see most of it till hours later. It seems as if they had no regard for the place. It does not seem very professional at all to me.

Moving in to FL and not knowing who to use for an inspection can be a scary thing. Asking around, several people referred us to HomePro. Now I know why! Having bought multiple homes I had a reasonable expectation of what our report should look like. I can honestly say I have never had a more thorough inspection performed. Then my inspector Shannon took 2 hours to walk me through the issues at 1am!!!! If you want to know what your new house is hiding, then call HomePro!

Was finally called and apologized to over our inspection issuand offered a refund, they requested I remove my negative review in light of my refund. I told HomePro I would think about it. I never received a refund. Buyer beware.
UPDATE:
Saw comments posted. Unfortunately, HomePro's actions do not match the rhetoric and marketing. I stand by my buyer beware. All marketing, little substance and no action. This company messed up our pre-slab pour inspection and refused to take responsibility or resolve the issue. Period.

I've been renovating homes as a side job for many years. I'm no master craftsman but I'm comfortable in my knowledge and skills. I accompanied our home inspector as he inspected our 1963 home. He was methodical, moving about in a solid pattern testing each aspect of the house as he moved. He would explain each test he was doing and voice the results if there were any concerns. He also took pictures of everything, noting his findings.
His report was well documented with explanations of his findings and appropriate recommendations

This is the 2nd time we used their services. We missed the preconstruction, slab pouring inspection but hired them for the predrywall and the preclosing inspections. I would strongly advise following (quietly) your inspector to learn a lot about your home. He found numerous items that we would never have found. they were easy to work with, scheduled quickly, helped work with the builder to ensure all was ready, and provided a written report with pictures, drone shots, and items listed by urgency ratings.

Office staff incompetent and unprofessional. Promised call backs ASAP, hours pass with no response. Staff overcharged our credit card, then we had to spend nearly an hour on the phone with them to correct their mistake. Inspector was nice but shared inspection with other individuals without our permission.

HomePro gave out our cell phone numbers to another company who has called us six times trying to sell us products for a home that we did not even purchase.

Professional, courteous and quick. You're welcome to be present for the inspection, although given the time that it takes I chose not to be. Homepro provides many options to the consumer with regards to the inspection. If one chooses you can even have the inspection warranty. The option I chose allows for a five year warranty on my roof. It may be a bit pricey when shopping around but the warranty is well worth it.

We used Homepro for both selling as a pre-inspection and then the inspection on the new home we just purchased. The inspector who came to the house we were selling spent hours going over our home with a fine tooth comb. The inspector who came out to inspect the home we purchased missed several items including two fire hazards.
Customer service was very polite and we went over the pictures I sent and said they would get back with me. Upon finding more items I sent another email with zero feedback. No follow through. Which leaves me writing this review especially after spending almost $1400 on home

The first reason I chose this particular home inspection company was because they advertise that they were open 24 hours 7 days a week. The second reason was because they had a lot of 4 star reviews on Yelp. My first phone call to this company was extremely unpleasant. The first person who took my call hand a attitude and hung up on me while I was talking. I called back immediately to get her name, of course they couldn't pull up where she entered any of my information. The 2nd young lady was helpful but they need to get better weekend phone service. We utilized home pros when purchasing our home a few months ago. Since we have moved in and gotten a follow up 4 point which was requested later by our insurance we have found multiple missed issues. The most concerning was a live exposed wire in the attic which we had to get an electrician to repair immediately. Customer service was great but I don't feel like a thorough job was done for me as a home buyer.
