In 2001, I found myself looking for a property management company to manage a couple of single family homes. I had tried a few "big box" brands and found them to be sadly lacking in anything remotely resembling "service".
With my background of having rented homes for several years during moves in the US and overseas as an "aerospace family", both as renter/occupier and owner/landlord, I thought if I ever became a Property Manager I would certainly have something valuable to bring to the table.I decided to become better informed and became a licensed tax preparer for a few years.

A: Per our management agreement $300.00 is held in reserve so that in the event funds have just been sent to you or the property is between tenants and is vacant, and we need to pay for repairs, funds are available to do so. This is always your money and in the event property management services are no longer required is returned to you.

To say that I am disappointed with both the service and state of the home we moved into is like saying that the surface of the sun is mildly warm.
Communication from the beginning has been abysmal. Left multiple messages as did our Realtor before receiving communication 5 days later! This should have been a red flag.
Then on move in day, after paying more than $3,000 in “security deposits, pet deposits, cleaning deposits, pet fees, etc.”, my wife arrives with our 7 week old to get the keys and do a walkthrough with Kristy at 1038, 8 minutes after the agreed upon time of 1030 (mind you, she

I have been using Every Edwards' property management services for over 3 years and have been very impressed with their high level of service and communication. They are always prompt getting maintenance work started and following through with a positive result for both tenant and owner. All accounting of revenue and expenses are provided regularly to me. If I need to talk to the property manager or company owner, they are always available to discuss anything that may arise. Evey and Kristy are both extremely sweet ladies to work with. I lived in a studio apartment that already came installed with a pet door. Any work orders I put in were confirmed and scheduled within 24-48 hours. The other tenants around were all friendly and looked out for one another. I unfortunately had to move due to space limitations but Kristy worked with me to make it a smooth transition. I highly recommend and working with Evey Edwards Group for your housing needs.

I signed on with this company back in 2010 and everything was absolutely great (communication & customer service) until a tenant broke the lease and removed items from my rental property. I still haven’t heard anything or received any funding from the tenant after the case was referred to a collections agency by Evey. Shortly afterwards I was pawned off to Harper Property Management (who are absolutely horrible) because they were “downsizing” with the promise that I would be in contact with someone that has previously been working my property. Evey Edwards Group managed our rental property for 11 years. The level of service and professionalism by her team was absolutely top notch! They were very responsive to us and our tenants, effectively managed all maintenance work and handled all the unexpected issues that came up.
