This is a beautiful oceanfront resort in cannon beach OR. We stayed in oceanfront one bedroom which had amazing views of the ocean and haystack rock. Our room had a kitchenette with a good size fridge, microwave, stovetop with oven and dishwasher. It was well equipped with basic utensils and dinnerware. Lots of room to keep your stuff. Housekeeping is provided everyday, thank Goodness! The only drawback is Bathroom is really small and the walls are thin so you can hear someone walking upstairs and activity in the rooms next to you.

This place is fabulous. The room is perfect (we stayed in the king suite with jacuzzi and fireplace), the view is amazing. Nick (the manager of the on-site restaurant - Georgie’s Beachside Grill) saw us struggling with our bags and took them in for us and even told us about the room and turned the fireplace on (now THAT’S great service!). We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in town.

What a wonderful experience staying here during the off season in November! This is what you get to look forward to: A cool ocean breeze surrounded by mountain greenery; watching the storms roll in and the varying changing transformative colors of Haystock Rock from morning until night on your private ocean view balcony. We stayed for 5 days in a private Jacuzzi and fireplace room surrounded by beautiful landscape, amazing cottage restaurants; while enjoying locally sourced fare within walking distance. My boyfriend booked a two night stay here for my birthday. While making the reservation the person making the booking promised a king bed, a fire place, and an ocean view. Also the room would be large enough for our two dogs. Upon arriving we found we had no fireplace, a queen bed, and the room was the size of a shoe box. The view was a bush that looked into the bed area. For $300 a night we left a night early since we only live an hour away. I would not recommend this hotel if you have pets.

Nothing is better for relaxing than Oregon coast. Listening to the surf, viewing the waves, walking on the beach, all releas stresses. This hotel has everything to enjoy Oregon coast; large clean room, tranquil atmosphere, and 180-degree-wide ocean view. I hope it won't change this style.

We booked the Partial View Queen room and it was beautiful! Very comfy and clean as well. Yes it's pricey, but so good for what you're getting, especially considering the fact that you're in Cannon Beach where it's pricey period. The location is perfect, you're just a few steps from the beach. There is no elevator so prepare for stairs. They also provide a complimentary bonfire starter kit, which was really nice. Definitely coming back here!

Pleasant staff and very clean. Nice pool and sauna set up plus a big hot tub. It's great to have a coast option with pets. For the price though, it would be nice to have a room with a view. Being on the ground floor and paying top floor prices plus the extra $25 each night for a pet sullies the experience a bit. Top that off with a sliding glass door clouded up between the panes of glass and it is one more ding. Plus if you are on the ground floor, can they find a way to let you exit out the slider and lock the room? You have to walk upstairs if you go out the front door and quite a ways around

The only complaint I have is that I wish we could have stayed longer! My new husband and I were taking a tour of Oregon for our honeymoon and stopped in Newport for one night. This place was AMAZING. The views, the restaurant next door, and the customer service were impeccable. They even surprised us with love birds and a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room. We hope to come back sooner rather than later and stay longer! You will not regret staying here.

While all the Hallmark Resort Hotel’s we stayed in during our Oregon Coast trip were outstanding the Hallmark Resort Hotel in Newport, Oregon set the standard for room amenities, views and overall satisfaction. Once again it was apparent just how well trained the hotel staff are, especially the front desk staff. Their knowledge of the area and customer service was amazing, it’s a large property by Oregon cost standards but you felt like they were your personal concierge.

What a wonderful stay! We booked the Pet-Friendly Limited Edition King Spa room for two nights and it was perfect. The room must've been through a refresh recently as everything was new. Loved that they had two sinks - one in the bathroom and one just outside of it so two people can get ready at the same time. The kitchenette had everything we needed - plates, utensils, glasses, mugs, fridge, and a toaster. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the fridge as well as a bottle of sand with a cute message inside to help us celebrate our anniversary.

Stayed one night during our trip along the Oregon coast. We would definitely come back again. The view from our room was amazing and we loved being able to walk down to the beach from our patio. The room was big enough for our family of 4 and very comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Just a quick drive from lots of food and bar options. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Picturesque does not begin to describe the Hallmark Resort Hotel & Spa at Cannon Beach, Oregon. Nestled just above the Pacific Ocean in Cannon Beach, Oregon this hotel has so much to offer. The views of the ocean are amazing and each room has a balcony that is perfect for your morning coffee. The front desk staff are informative and know the area, you genuinely feel welcomed when you arrive and appreciated when you depart. It's also not bad they have hot cookies every afternoon.
The rooms have everything you need and the bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was SO special. I called to make reservations a few months before our trip and the staff gave excellent recommendations on when to book, helped me figure out which room to book, and helped me navigate the best option for our stay. The room was clean and modern but still incredibly cozy. The balcony was such a treat. And if you had any doubts about the jacuzzi rooms—don’t! Easily the best part of our room. We felt like we actually relaxed on our vacation, which hardly ever happens! Also, room service was so quick, yummy food, and helpful.

Can't beat the location, but you're paying a premium for it. Plenty of parking on site, a few in a covered garage, but most is uncovered. The TV didn't work, and the rooms have bad sound proofing, Can hear everything upstairs including the plumbing. Everything in the room seem dated, and being on the first floor means having people walking past your patio window, so zero privacy.

This place is amazing; you for what you get. I highly recommend getting a room with a view of the ocean and a patio. My wife and I spent a lot of time on the patio. We drank coffee from the sleepy monk and got food to go from many of the local restaurants. Customer service at the counter was top-notch. They were friendly and had a great attitude.
It is a way from downtown Cannon Beach, but it's within walking distance. However, it near a convenience store, sleepy monk coffee, hardware store, wayfarer restaurant, and pelican brewing. So if you need food, it is in a good location

I stayed here a couple weeks back for one night while on a west coast road trip. I don't think I could have stayed at a better hotel on Cannon Beach. I opted for an oceanfront room which delivered 100%. The views were amazing and I had a complete unobstructed view of Haystack Rock. The room was clean and well furnished. Parking was fine for me and I was always able to snag a spot right in front of my room.
I arrived to Cannon Beach a bit early but still tried to check in. Although my room wasn't ready yet, the lady at the front desk was super friendly and provided me a map to the area

This is a place to stay for location to Haystack rock and the beds are so comfortable. If you are here for one night traveling the coast this is the best place to stay you just walk down the steps to haystack Rock. I thought the location would be closer to shopping and the boutique stores but you have to drive. I really think it only takes one day here. Hug rock was awesome as well and that is a 6 min drive from here.

We squeezed in a visit to the Oregon coast during our vacation and we're so glad to have come here. The view was amazing and the attention to detail was there. If you're looking for a relaxed vacation stay, this is the one for you.
Our room was all the way at the end and closest to haystack rock, and I was blown away at the beautiful view. We indicated that we were celebrating a birthday, and when we arrived, we had a nice card and bottle of apple cider waiting for us in the fridge. There was also popcorn in the room! It's the small details that are nice.

This is my go-to place to stay whenever I'm in town. Cannon beach has become one of my favorite places to visit in the PNW coast, and what better way to enjoy it than staying oceanfront. The atmosphere is amazing, and being able to look out the window and see the amazing view is honestly so uplifting. It's safe to say, Hallmark Resort is my "home away from home".

The place feels clean and is obviously kept up well. Prior to check-in (we stayed here during Covid) we received an email with their Covid protocols and procedures so there were no surprises. We knew they weren't doing house cleaning in the rooms during g the stay, which seems to be common procedure.
We had a lighthouse view room as all of the oceanfront rooms were taken. We were so close to the water and saw so much of the beach. The view still took my breath away.

Our 4days stay at Hallmark was amazing! Since we brought our puppy with us, we requested a pet friendly 1br NW partial ocean view suite. Expected a "squint and you could almost see the ocean" room, but to our surprise we had an ocean view. We were in room 351. It was comfortable with 2 king sized beds. It had a fireplace but no AC and a balcony facing the ocean. They room was provided 2 fans and a Keurig coffee maker. There was no housekeeping during our stay due to covid19 precautions. We took our trash out which was no biggie BUT the bins did overflow while we were there. We all enjoyed
