Decided to try Nana's due to reviews. Great wait staff. Food was sub par For the price. Shepard's pie was dried out as well as the bread pudding. Needless to say I was disappointed.

Always a wonderful experience here. Amazing Irish fare in the heart of Newport. Perfect to visit anytime, but even better after a cold/wet day playing on the beach. Nice whiskey selection, Irish beers are available, large plates of food, you won't go home hungry. They provide a great experience all around. The meatloaf, sausage rolls, Reuben, and their Irish pies (think classic pot pies x10) have all been amazing, oh and the soda bread, could eat that every day if I had the chance.

I enjoyed my food and the experience. (But I don’t think it was $20 a plate good?)
It is also neat that they buy their beef from a local ranch I’ve driven bu many times.

Me and my boyfriend order their Ruben for take out at least once a month. I also highly recommend the puff pastry with Brie cheese. Try to stop here if you have the chance!

Worthwhile and fun Irish food. Good service, Guinness and a full bar, and a large menu of many excellent choices. Nice seating both inside and out.
I had the Galway Cod, which I can recommend. It is not overly filling, and the Cod was white flaky Ling Cod most likely.
A delicious sauce made me eat every bite, and nothing was fried.
I would say if you want "pub" in Nye Beach and there's only a few choices this one is the one to try.

I like Irish food so I stopped by while I was in town. The first time I ordered the shepherd's pie (ground beef) it was really delicious. The 2nd time I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, that was really good and a huge portion! Enough for 2!. Very good service. The vibe was happy. Would recommend to my family/friends.

The food was delicious! Our family likes to sample each dish and each dish was great. All came out piping hot and full of flavor. The staff was quick and polite, even for being busy! We definitely plan to make a return visit. I got the fish and chips, the fish was beer battered and mild and fries are the thick yummy steak fries. Next time I go I'll have a hard time deciding between the steak and guineas pie or the sausage dish, Taigues Delight!

First visit on a stormy day at the Coast in Newport, Nye Beach area. On entry, it was a pleasant, meek pub with a cheerful bar side greeting from Alexandria. I chose to sit at a table since chairs were padded and I had extra time to enjoy a meal. The service by the bar tender/waitress Alexandria was perfect-prompt, informative, efficient & very friendly. She had a full house too. Food was real good although not exactly what I special ordered but probably my fault for not being real clear with my meal change up.
Clam Chowder was very special in ingredients too. Steak sandwich fixings on lettuce

Sat on the patio on a beautiful day. Just loved hanging out here in Nye Beach.

Service was excellent along atmosphere. Irish music playing in background.

Calamari was tasty. It had the legs and rings. I prefer just the rings, but still good stuff. Need to come back for dinner.

The food was delicious! I ordered the shepherds pie, but kept on nibbling on the meatloaf. Best meatloaf I ever had!

Definitely, go in the late afternoon. We were able to walk-in and be seated.

Nana's Pub is my new favorite place on the Oregon coast. The food is good. So, so good. And the staff were extremely pleasant and professional. We had a really good time there eating on their patio.
I had the classic Shepherd's Pie and my wife had the Tuna Melt. Both were great and I've included photos of each. We also split Scoth Eggs. Which were cooked perfectly.
Suffice it to say, I will be back. Soon!

Hands down, best Irish Pub I've been to since living in Northern Ireland. I may move here just to visit often. Try the Guinness steak pie, Bangers and Mash and pretty much anything on the menu. Ok the salmon spread appetizer... Ummm... Not that. But everything else!

We visited Nana's at lunch time during our recent trip along the Oregon coast. When we arrived the patio was full and all inside seating was fill. We were the secon couple in line to get in. A waiter came over and informed us that they had tables getting ready to leave and that it would be a short wait. Shortly after two groups of diners walked out. By that time the line had grown to about 10 parties waiting to be seated. A manager came out and announced to everyone that they were down to one cook, several orders were backup and they were going to stop seating new parties until they were caught

Came here for dinner on our most recent trip to Newport and once again enjoyed it immensely. My main dish was perhaps a little less good than it's been in the past. I got the shepherd's pie, but it had sliced potatoes on top instead of mashed potatoes (and they were dry). My wife got the curry pie and it was very good. Kids got a hamburger and grilled cheese - we wish they would have Irish food on the menu for kids! Good beers on tap. We got an assortment of desserts, all of which were great - the raspberry delight (SO good, I need to get this every time), banoffee pie (really good

This Irish pub was great! The Traditional Irish Breakfast was my pick and it was so good. I also tried the Colcannon soup and had a Snakebite to drink. It was a great experience and not only was the food delicious the portions are huge. Definitely try the soda bread and clam chowder too.

Times have been tough for those in the service industry in Oregon. Constantly changing rules, short staffed, and minimal capacity with maximum tourists.

During our first visit, I witnessed the behavior of one disgruntled tourist who came in from the patio to correct what should have been a minor error on a check. A situation which escalated, not due to the staff, but the woman making wild accusations and demanding "respect." She berated the staff as only the self-entitled can.

The staff handled the situation with grace and patience that reminded me why I love industry people. This

Quaint Irish pub in the Nye beach shops area in Newport. This was our second visit and it won't be our last. The service has been prompt and great. The food is excellent and the portions are a great value. Certain meals come with a slice of yummy traditional soda bread (no raisins!)
