Jenni did an AMAZING job completely transforming my hair. She listened and communicated well to ensure we were on the same page before getting started and worked to teach me about product and hair care throughout the entire process. I called around for a color correction and was informed by a lot of salons they would not do it, but happily I found Shelby at Reverie! She was able to correct my hair from a dark purplish red to a beautiful strawberry blonde. She was able to lighten my hair and make sure during the process it was super conditioned and now it is thick, shiny and the color is perfect. I have had a lot of compliments from close friends, strangers and most importantly my husband! Shelby is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and was easy to talk to about many subjects. Cancelled my hair and make up appointment the day of, 7 hours before my brother in law's wedding. They also couldn't guarantee hair and make up in 1.25 hours and was going to make me arrive barely on time anyway. It was a destination wedding in Tahoe so not able to re-book anyone else. Refund was given but no other stylist was available. I was forced to scramble to find an alternative and thankfully the stylist for my brothers fiancé had some time after the bridal party was done and understood how frustrating being cancelled on is. After a lengthy online application and a $40 deposit for a Balayage, I was able to book a 7AM appointment at Reverie Salon with the owner Shelby. I was very excited for this as early appointments are rare and I was really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, Shelby was running fairly late, and she got started 20 minutes later than scheduled. I was a bit iffy about making an appointment with this salon. It seemed like a nice place from the pictures and reviews. When I made the appointment though, they scheduled me for the wrong date. They charged me $50 to hold the appointment and then realized they scheduled me wrong and refunded my card after I asked. Originally I left a very friendly review where I said I felt bad to leave only 3 stars and raved about Shelby's skills personally. The reason for the 3 stars was the decreasing availabity even though I book months ahead. She contacted me immediately. Look at the screenprints. Just nuts! Then today I see that she gave my phone number to someone to further harass me. So what now? Yelp terrorism?

I found this salon on Yelp and I'm so glad I chose it over the other salons in the area! I had my hair cut by Dinara and she did an awesome job. She checked in with me throughout the haircut to make sure It was what I wanted. I came in with waist-length hair and left with a beautiful A-line bob. She was very friendly and provided helpful tips for maintaining my hair. I just moved to Nevada from California and think I may have found my go-to salon :)

Shelby charged me $275 for a disastrous haircut that must be styled to hide the terrible cut (the worst I've ever had and I will have to go somewhere else to get everything fixed). She didn't color the entire head but charged full price, her color mixes are off and now I have a copper 1 " strip, no blending in, and the color is fake looking. The staff was wearing masks, required clients to wear masks as well, they had me sanitize my hands as soon as I walked in, took my temperature, and sanitized the stations before and after a sitting.
