Alix Gray has been cutting my hair for over a year now! She does great with my short hair cut and making sure it stays low maintenance for me. She also did amazing braids and Updos for my wedding. The few times I wasn’t able to see Alix and worked with other stylist at Outsiders, they were great as well! Can’t go wrong here.

I’ve been here three times to get my hair done by Mirranda. Mirranda has been amazing each time. She has such as skill with hair and I never feel any pain even when she moves quickly. She always makes sure I know what to expect and I love the outcome each time. The environment of the shop in general is clean, cozy, and beautiful. Even better, it’s part of Green Circle and they recycle and properly dispose of all products they use! A great place.

My girlfriend went in looking to get a longer pixie cut, she had a video of the exact hairstyle she wanted. The guy ended up convincing her to get a bob with bangs to train her hair, which is completely understandable, but to give her a hair cut that isn’t even close to what she asked for and then proceed to charge her $76 is ridiculous. She is completely unhappy with her appearance and her confidence has been shot. I was really hoping this place would be great but I’m disappointed and think it is a waste of money.

I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff at Outsiders. But I would be remiss to not acknowledge Nellie. We met when I moved to Reno 5 years ago and she’s been my go-to hair girl ever since.… Recently she’s studied holistic wellness and energy healing and my reiki sessions with her have helped me move emotional mountains. She will never know how much she’s actually helped me both physically and spiritually.

Been going to Outsiders for a handful of years now and Nellie and her team are excellent! Jessica did a fantastic job last time and they were even able to squeeze me in earlier in the day. New location is phenomenal with a ton of parking and space. Also can't beat the complimentary beverages beforehand. Love these guys.

Went and had my hair colored by Christie and it was great! I have golden blonde/red hair so it’s not the easiest to maintain. The salon is so cute and clean, and they also have a great CBD scalp treatment that felt nice and smelled amazing. My hair is super shiny and soft! Christie always takes good care of my hair.

Well, went here because of the amazing reviews and learned why it is called Outsiders. All I wanted to do was get outsiders of that place as quickly as I could. I went in for a cut and color. The stylist took… me 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. She then asked what I wanted and we agreed to a black with a violet tone that would show in the sun. What I ended up with was a dark, black in some spots, my original brown/red in other random spots (one of these spots right in the FRONT) and roots that are a tea brown color 🤦🏻♀️. I don't get my hair cut very often but I had an interview in Reno and came to Outsiders without much notice. The vibe is very relaxed with wine and beer available while you wait. The haircut was the best I've ever had. I showed them a picture of my hair 2-3 years ago and they matched the length but blended my beard perfectly into my hair. I was nervous at first because I never like how my hair looks after it is cut, but I was pleasantly surprised that I liked my hair better after leaving Outsiders!
