Got my hair and makeup done here for my wedding day, and the ladies who worked on me did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job! I've never felt so beautiful! They even helped lace me into my corset, which is no easy task lol! This studio is amazing. I know where to go if I ever need my hair or makeup professionally done again!

Back at the beginning of June 2020 I went to Caliber Hair Studio for a partial weave after the salons opened up due to Covid shut downs. My normal stylist worked at the casinos and unfortunately, I could not get in before a interview presentation, so my stylist referred me to Caliber. On June 4th I went in for the weave. The picture at the lower right was the example picture for the owner to use in how I wanted my hair to look. The picture at the bottom left is how my hair looked when I went in on June 4th. Caliber Salon is the best of the best. I can’t even remember how long I’ve been going to Caliber but I do intend to continue going to the salon and recommending it to anyone who asks me about my hair or wants their hair done impeccably. Love this place. When I first moved to Reno I tried several premium cut businesses, but neither consistently delivered a premium experience. The most important thing to me is consistency in the quality of the cut and keeping appointments.

Carla did my hair for my wedding and I could not have asked for a better artist. She was so friendly and excited from the start!! Every time I saw her she looked so happy and excited to be doing my hair!!
I booked and came in for the trial and she had been busy doing unexpected additions to another client, she was so apologetic and you could tell she really wanted to do an amazing job on my hair and struggled with time juggling 2 people at once! She was a great multi-tasker and made my hair a dream!
The day of the wedding I came in with some of my bridesmaids, they gave us snacks and cocktails

I love Caliber Hair & Makeup! It is the best salon in town. Tres and his stylists are amazing and I love the creature comforts like a heated aroma-infused towel/neck cushion at the wash basin and an amazing head massage when getting shampooed. My husband got his haircut from an amateur who shouldn't be cutting hair. He doesn't have a hard cut and this person gave him a crooked butch cut. Not sure what good a consultation does when the stylist doesn't even listen to the client. Worse yet, when he called to talk to the owner, the owner had nothing to say. Bad business

My wife made an appointment for her hair and makeup for an event tonight. 40 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start she was still waiting to get her appointment started. Totally understandable to be delayed a bit, but 40 minutes late is a bit much. On top of that, no one apologized. No one even acknowledged how late they were. The person doing makeup just kept saying "5 minutes" from about ten minutes after my wife was supposed to start her appointment.

Caliber Salon and Makeup studio located in midtown Reno is the place to go for a cut or other hair treatments. Caliber Salon is a Unite studio. The Unite hair products is amazing. The cost of the products can be steep and well worth the price. My favorite is the shampoo and conditioner for my hair type. I can notice the difference when I use the Unite products in comparison with other competitor product lines.
The owner of Caliber, whose name is Tres, is the person I see for my haircuts. I only get my haircut and have no need for hair coloring. I know of others who go to this salon for hair coloring

I was on a business trip recently and needed a last minute hair appt. I called the salon at 4 and they could get me in at 5 for a cut and color. I was scheduled with Emily who took great care in understanding my needs, my hair and my style. She spent time formulating the best color option for my hair and texture as well as recommended products along the way that will help my hair looks its best. I can say, without a doubt, this was the best experience in a new salon I have ever had. Emily knew it was unlikely that I would become a regular customer for her, but, she treated me as if I would be back

I started going to Caliber after I received a coupon card, and have continued to use their services. Everyone in the office is very friendly and can accommodate to my needs whether its fitting me in before close or allowing me to come in for a quick bang trim. As a regular computer user I was in serious need of a massage. I checked out Caliber because they were rated the Best Massage in Midtown. I was surprised that with that rating they were only charging $35 for a massage. Jason, the massage therapist, gave me a thorough consultation before starting the massage. A few minutes into the massage, I had to agree that this was the best massage in Midtown! Jason was very knowledgeable and skilled. He did a traction technique for my neck that felt amazing.
