Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a room. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure will love it I'm sure!
This hotel is beautiful, quiet and comfortable. The staff was in communication with me even prior to my departure from home. They bent over backwards to make my family’s stay perfect. This hotel and its staff is incredibly.

This is a great hotel in New York City. While the rooms are not inexpensive, they are superlatively furnished and laid out, and the staff is wonderful. Brandon and Cynthia were at the check-in desk and were most gracious, warm and very accommodating. The location is great, right on 42nd Street close to Broadway, and the noise level from the street was nonexistent. We will definitely stay there again.

This hotel has zero empathy towards guests with COVID. They threw to the street two celebrities with COVID under the cold weather. They were fully vaccinated.

Nice staff and clean hotel.
Despite there being limited food options,no valet, and bare minimum staffing- we were greeted and taken care of as expected from a higher end hotel.

Great location!! Perfect if wanting to be in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle of the city- Bryant park and Times Square!

Checked in to this hotel for my birthday and when I went to
The room and lift the covers there was blood on the sheets, ask for a manager and he came he was acting very nonchalant, saying the dry old blood looked fresh and I asked for a refund and was denied of it, I asked for an incident report and was also denied of that, I had to call 311 and the precinct to actually get a report of the incident. Place is unsanitary and I highly do not recommend

First of all the location and the new year roof top party was great. Little over priced but I understand was season timing. Staff are amazing. Room size super small. Me and my wife noticed a funny smell in the bathroom area.

Stayed here during a business trip to NY. The service was everything but 5 star! If you’re able to opt for other options in the 5 star category please go with a stay at the St. Regis or something of the sort.
The location is prime, with most things in walking distance. It would appeal especially to tourists sitting right in the middle of Times Square. That’s about the only pro. Stayed here for 4 nights, room service was a hassle to order each day. The front desk barely ever answers the phone, and everyone seems to be working at half pace. Eric was particularly upsetting when asked to forward

Utterly disappointed. This "5 star hotel" can't deliver anything better than my usual chain hotels that I stay at on road trips.

I argued my way through my travel group to stay a night here at the Knickerbocker while we were traveling in NYC in April earlier this year. It was really a shameful move. I booked through the Visa concierge service that had extra perks so I was a bit stoked. Until check-in, it seemed promising as I received a friendly text the night before to confirm when our approximate arrival time might be.

But here's where our simple expectations were unmet

As it's not my 1st stay, before i was mesmerized with the room and the staff generosity when they upgraded more than visit! This time around the carpet in the room has spots, the wall has dents and paint cracks we had to ask for water because there was nothing in the room and looks like its a COVID precaution but nothing was in the mini fridge nor any cups or coffee to be used! The three stars because the place never losses its awesome smell and for their comfy bed and linens also for the fact that everything in the toilet is dipytique and they're very generous with it.

A nice hotel. Room clean and spacious. Great location near Times Square, Bryant Park and Broadway theaters. Unfortunately, the hotel relies on a poorly run nearby parking garage for its guests with cars. We had to wait *40* minutes to get our car back (Sunday October 17, 2021).

My husband and I recently booked a stay at the Knickerbocker Hotel to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. I was drawn to the hotel because of its location just off Times Square and a short walk to the theater. We were not disappointed.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the doorman and concierge who offered to help with any needs we may have from theater tickets to dinner reservations. From there we made our way to the guest services desk where we were greeted by Paola, the most professional, responsive and attentive customer service attendant I’ve ever met.
Paola greeted us with a smile

This review is for the room and the reception desk.

For the brand and price point, you'd expect a lot more. Coffee and water are some of the most basic amenities for hospitality businesses and you only get water here and they will charge a "residence fee" for it and for housekeeping. (Wha?)

My room was sad-- the room temperature control was broken. It was on 60 F when I got in so I increased it to 70 F which kicked up the heater and that stayed on until it was 80 F. If I reduced it to 68, the AC would blast and would stop at some point and the heater would turn itself on. Then

No coffee.. can't stay here again.. coffee is like soap-a must have. Takes little effort to put water and coffee and a cup in the lobby. Even in NYC we expect to over pay. But the lack of effort is unacceptable. Must walk two blocks thru the left overs of Tine Square to find coffee. Unacceptable! When will using COVID as an excuse expire.

WARNING!!!! BED BUGS!!!!!! I experienced bites and then my husband and kids starting getting bites as well. We contacted the hotel manager and finally got a call back and she was very defensive saying that they were doing everything they could to fix it, but this was of course after we had already checked out!! I said I was very unsatisfied with the experience, and she never even compensated anything for our trouble. REDICULOUS!! Don't waste your money!!!

Our trip was canceled due to the virus and they were wonderful handling changing our reservation.

We have stayed here many, many times and it has always been 5 Stars.

We look forward to staying here again soon...the rooms are spacious and spotless with great showers. The restaurant is perfect before a show and the food delicious.

I absolutely love this hotel. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times so far and each stay has been nothing but great. I'm one of those people who examines the wash cloths and towels in hotel rooms to make sure they are clean. I've never had any problems here. The bathroom is well lit and there is ample counter space for me and whoever I am with to get ready in the mirror at the same time with no issues.

I've gone to the rooftop bar every time I've stayed here. If you're into aesthetics, this place is perfect. There's 2 seating areas near the entrances to the rooftop

I have been going to the knickerbocker hotel for the last two years. During that time we have been their about 8 times. We also have had family stay with us 2 times paying for their room as well. We must have spent well over $20,000.00 plus with room and services. The last time we were there was from September 29th through October 2nd.
Their was an issue checking in and checking out but the problem I had was I send an email to the manager who sent an email about our stay. In the email I complaint and requested a call /email until today no response. It just very sad how they would treat a loyal

We fled from another hotel TO the Knickerbocker, and couldn't have been happier with our choice. We found an affordable rate for the property and when we saw it's location, we couldn't say no.

The Knickerbocker is perfect in so many ways; the location, which is just steps off of Times Square is ideal for going to shows, and within walking distance of Restaurant Row. The noise of the city disappears as soon as you step into it's cool, oxygen pumped atmosphere, a haven in the midst of madness.

The staff is professional, well-groomed and kind. Our room - while facing a monstrous

A good spot. The rooms use the space efficiently. Lots of bathroom counter space which is a big plus for me!
For being in Times Square it shields the noise and lights and several couples in our group needed to add noise.
I don't love a rain showers but if I did, it was awesome.
The bar last call during the week was 11:30 which was a little surprising it wasn't at least midnight.

If it were Barbie it'd just be The Bocker because she never wears Knickers.

Whereas if it were me it would just be The Bonkers.

This is a brand new building but it looks really old - in fact it looks like it's been here for a long time except that doesn't have any wear and tear and worn out brickwork.

Looks like they built a new building in an old style which I really appreciate. Well done to them and massive Kudos if that is indeed what they have done.

Either that or they restored something that I didn't know was here that was always here.

I researched hotels in New York very carefully, because we would be sharing the room with our granddaughter and we would be out and about much of the time, so I wanted a convenient location. We were delighted with the Knickerbocker.

First of all, its location is perfect for tourists. You can walk to theaters, you can walk to restaurants, very importantly, you can walk to the M&M Store, you can easily access two subway lines which go all over Manhattan and beyond, and the area feels relatively safe. In addition, across the street there is a drug store that has everything you need/forgot

This hotel is great. Located just to the back corner of Times Square. You get a great view of the whole square from some of the rooms and all along the rooftop bar. The gym is nice. They have a spa as well. All the staff from the doorman to the guest services are very friendly and helpful.

Note that if you valet your vehicle it takes about 30 minutes for them to retrieve it.

The rooms are very nice and modernized. They have remote controlled black out curtains so you can sleep all day if you like. The whole place is just worth the stay.

Discreet. Understated. Modern. Chic.
Located in Times Square the location is excellent. A few blocks walking distance to 5th Avenue, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. THE place to stay for New Years because of its open rooftop bar St. Cloud--in full view of the giant ball that falls to countdown to the next year.
Comfortable large rooms with high ceilings. Frosted glass in the bath, automated black out shades, high thread count sheets, a work out room on the 4th floor, and a coffee shop on the ground floor. Comfortable, quiet and sophisticated. Excellent service.
