The ages of our residents range from newborns to over ninety years old and everything in between. We also allow pets, although there are special rules for pet occupied apartments. At our Toftrees apartments you will find a great country setting, yet we are only minutes from The Penn State campus and downtown State College.
The Turtle Creek complex has nine separate apartment buildings and is adjacent to the nationally known Toftrees golf course. Each apartment has a patio or balcony, and is surrounded by grass, trees, and plenty of open space. Turtle Creek has unique amenities in a beautiful country club setting. Additionally, at Turtle Creek, heat, electricity, water/sewer, trash removal and FREE parking are included in your rent.
The Landlord has to verify that I/we are the responsible parties and I/we agree to assume responsibility for his/her actions should there be a failure to pay the rental or failure to follow the rules and covenants of the lease and any renewals of the lease. I/We agree to guaranty performance by for payment of all amounts due including rent and all other charges.
Situated on twenty-six acres in a magnificent country setting, you can choose 2 or 3-bedroom townhomes and studio, 1, 2, or 3-bedroom apartments. Go two tenths of a mile and make a right onto Toftrees Avenue. Go to the top of the hill and make a left onto Cricklewood Drive. About four tenths of a mile after making the left turn, look for 701 Cricklewood Drive on your left and a sign that says "Rental Office".

We were looking for an apartment to rent that would take pets - we have 2 small dogs. We found Turtle Creek and as soon as we took a tour of the property, we knew we found the place for us. The office staff are very pleasant and are attentive to our needs. The maintenance staff does a great job in keeping the grounds well maintained. This year we had a winter with a lot of snow and ice and every morning when we went to leave for work, the sidewalks and parking lots were clear. The staff that cleans the common areas are great and the areas are kept tidy at all times. The neighbors are friendly

A fantastic apartment complex to live in! The rent might appear just a little bit steep at first glance, BUT because all utilities are included, it winds up being more reasonably priced than anywhere else in the area - plus, you have the great added benefit of never having to worry about the electric or the heating bill spiking in the winter or summer, etc. Any repairs I've ever requested have been completed in an unbelievably timely fashion (i.e. same day, sometimes within 1-2 hours), and the management has been accommodating, personable, and everything you could ask for. My apartment is clean, quiet, private, and has brand new wall to wall carpet. It's conveniently located next to shopping and CATA bus stops. Even the laundry facilities have heavy duty commercial washers and dryers. Utilities are included in the rent and there is lots of convenient parking. Love it here!
