While Dance Life has always prided itself on offering affordable dance and fitness classes, we're struggling to stay open and are entirely reliant upon classes and events to stay in our building and to keep our bills paid. Right now, these are recordings of my Zoom classes- the sound quality is good, the video quality is alright. That will be changing in the future! Three brand new classes added each week.
Tendu your best foot forward and join Andrea for an hour of ballet! We're all about having fun and dancing to non-traditional songs. Join us for all of the grace and none of the body shaming typical for this style of dance! The instructor for this class, Andy, is incredibly experienced with over 20 years of ballet in her background, and she'll set you at ease with her friendly and funny demeanor.
With an emphasis on muscle conditioning and core engagement, ballet fitness will help build stronger muscles, increase endurance and strengthen your core, all while making you feel like a warrior. Expect to start class with a set of ballet stretches, then work into movement combos including 2nd position plies, arabesques, etc and elevation combos (kicks, plies, etc), with the second half of the class focusing on strengthening floor work on a mat.
This class learns a choreography for 7-9 weeks, with a new snippet learned each week- join at any time. Shimmies and hip drops and undulations, oh my! If you are familiar with a few basic belly dance moves and have been wondering what to do with them next, join us for a Belly Dance Adventure! Each week brings a new adventure in the form of a different extended combo each class, which culminates in an entire choreography by the end of the session.

A good friend recommended the hula hoop class at Dance Life. I am always excited to try something new. The hula hoops are weighted which adds to the intensity of the workout.The women in the class make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The hour class went fast. If you love to hula hoop this a great way to exercise. On the fun meter it is a 10!

I've been going to Dance Life for nearly a year and its been a blast. Its so fun and welcoming. The instructors are so helpful. I always have a great time in classes. The focus is both on learning the art of dance but also on loving your body and your way of learning. Arielle and Mama K are the sweetest people who are always encouraging and knowledgeable. I love love going to Dance Life and I'm so happy to have found it.

A great bunch of women... uplifting, gracious, kind and fun doesn't begin to describe the wonderful people at Dance Life. I just wish I had more time to take a class or two everyday. I highly recommend Dance Life studio- whether you are serious about dance or just want to have fun, Dance Life is the place to be!
