I have been in the Bay Area since 2004 and currently reside with my family in Santa Clara. I have been in the field of dentistry since 1994. I consider myself fortunate to have studied dentistry in Europe and the US, as both schools of thought have contributed to the professional I am today. I think we should not compromise when it comes to our health, and that is why I focus on preventive care.

Dr Vladescu is excellent! She's one of those very hard to find honest, NOT money-obsessed dentists. She has excellent bedside manners, is thorough, patient, listens to concerns and prescribes appropriate treatment.
I should also compliment the very excellent dental hygiene personnel at her office as well as the very pleasant office admin, Liz!
I can't recommend her highly enough!

I had my dental implant break Friday night, when I called the emergency number I was shocked that Dr. Vladescu picked up. She went out of her way to schedule me in on Saturday morning even though her office is normally closed on the weekends. She came with her 1 year old daughter and nanny just for my dental emergency! I had to leave town on Sunday because I had an important meeting on Monday morning and she really saved my smile.

We have been taking our 3 yr old to Dr. Anca since he turned 2. We love the over all experience starting with making appointments, follow ups from the from staff, reminders for appt. as well as the office environment. My son likes going there and is not afraid of going through the dental check up and I would attribute that to the wonderful approach Dr. Anca and her staff have to make kids comfortable and create a fun atmosphere for them. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist!

Dr Vladescu has been a wonderful dentist for our family. A couple of experiences have left me very impressed.
1) I tried another dentist because my dental insurance recommended her. The other dentist said I needed to replace all my gold crowns and one tooth looked bad and would probably require a root canal. I was suspicious and went to Dr Vladescu for a second opinion. She examined me and said she found nothing wrong. Sometimes, dentist's getting reimbursed by dental insurance are poorly paid and are looking for ways to make money.
2) I contacted Dr. Vladescu when a tooth was infected and

I married a man who has been going to this dentist since he was 5. Him and his 3 siblings grew up at this dentist, now my kids are too. And they are always happy to go.
I can't say nearly enough about just how personable and attentive the staff in this office are. Dr. Anka is just the best!
Plus, when the kids are with the dentist, there is a Safeway just a two minute walk away. So I can get grocery shopping done at the same time, or get a coffee at one of the two Starbucks in the shopping center.

I have been going here since I was a young child when it was headed by Dr. Pedrazzi. I was a little aprehensive when Anca took over, as I had never had anyone else work on, but her and her staff are awesome! I am always warmly greeted upon entering and they make myself and my family feel comfortable and welcome. I have 2 small children, one of which who has already had to have multiple cavities filled at the age of 4, and the entire staff take extra measures to make sure that it is a positive experience for her every time something needs work. I wish I could give her 10* the whole team is unbelievable! I was terrified going to the dentist and then I moved here and I knew I needed to go so my husband suggested I go to Dr. Vladescu. A wonderful relaxing experience; something I'm not used to saying about dentists. In the past I have felt anxious and uneasy when visiting the dentist, until I found myself being cared for by the lovely Dr. Vladescu. I was treated in a comfortable and relaxing manner by both her and her staff, and for once I didn't have to feel any pain when getting my cavities removed.

We moved to San Jose about a year ago and referred by a friend to Dr. Vladescu's office. She and everyone on her team are consistently caring, attentive to details and exceptionally good at whatever they might be doing for us. Dr. Vladescu is extremely honest, and doesn't suggest anything beyond what is best for our teeth. One last note, our 4 year-old daughter had her first dental appointment this week and just loved it.

Wow. What a great dentist. Finnally we found our family a dentist who we can all go to. Dr. Vladesescu is warm and genuanlly cares about her patents and staff alike. My daughter that is less than two came with me for an emergency procedure. A staff member watched and played with her while i was being treated. I will be a loyal patient for many years to come. Hopefully mosly for cleanings :)

Amazing! Dr. Vladescu is the most gentil and attentive dentist I've ever met. She made me feel very comfortable and was very specific in explaining every step she did. Getting my teeth cleaned and takig care of bad cavities was pain free.
I would recommend her, and her staff, to anyone looking for an actual pleasant experience as well as great results the next time they see a dentist.
