The ramen here is good but pretty overpriced. Unfortunately the customer service is terrible. I order from here a couple times a month because I live down the block. I ordered the vegetable ramen today for delivery through UberEats (because I had a credit for delivery), and I received someone else’s order.
The receipt on the outside of the bag was correct, it says vegetable ramen, but there was chicken ramen inside. Long story short, they blamed the driver when it was clearly their mistake because they put the items in the wrong bags. On top of that, they wouldn’t send me a new order of ramen

I got the shoyu ramen, Chicken rice bowl, fried ice cream, and chicken on skewers. Everything very delicious 😍 the chicken rice bowl had a little spice to it but it was perfect for me. The ramen was absolutely amazing, love everything about it! The fried ice cream was extremely good as well😍👍🏼 Highly recommend!

Nice ramen place in Hoboken. They have nice open vibe and have indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted by a nice lady and got a table instantly. It was surprisingly crowded given we went on a Monday eve. They have 1 vegetarian ramen and 1 vegetarian udon, also a rice bowl. We tried Vegetable Miso Ramen and Vegetable Nave Udon. Ramen in my opinion is one of the best in Jersey

I think 2 stars is a good ranking for this place. I waited for couple days to cool my head and write an honest review. There are only 2 reasons I give this place 2 stars instead of one.
1. service was good
2. Place has a cool design.
Now to the worst and most important part. Food is terrible.
I love Japanese cuisine and this is not Japanese, it's a mess.
Shrimp tempura felt like eating bread crumbs, it felt like they tried to hide that shrimp is old and rotting by putting more bread crumbs on it. I had Diarrhea after eating it for couple days.
Salad leaves that they put on a side of tempura

Finally tried Shokudo one Wednesday evening via UberEats for pickup. Our order was ready before the original quoted time. Here is everything we ordered:
Flank Yakitori - this was the best skewer out of the ones we got. Flank has a reputation for being tough but this was definitely not the case here
Galbi Yakitori - this was actually a bit tough so I didn't love this one
Chicken Meatball Yakitori - the flavor was good but overall, it was a bit dry
Momo (chicken thigh) Yakitori - pretty good; you usually can't go wrong with chicken thigh
Spicy Pork Bun - I'm not a huge bao bun fan in general
