Services
Before approving or disapproving an application, we run a credit, criminal and eviction reports. Timely rent collection is essential to both your company and ours. Rent is due on the 1st, late on the 2nd, and subject to late charges. Legal proceedings to remove the tenant may begin as early as the 10th of the month, depending on the occupant's history and the timing of holidays, weekends, etc.
Include your credit card (or bring a check or money order to our office) for payment of your application fee. You will be required to pay the first month's rent plus a damage deposit, and provide proof of renter's insurance. They worked with us to get us moved in quickly when we needed to get out of our previous apartment. All of the staff is very friendly and also responsive. I have been able to get any problems fixed quickly and efficiently and there haven't been many of them. I would absolutely recommend them, just be sure to check your spam filter after applying, my email service sent the approval there but they worked with me to get things set right. Great management company overall!

Maddox is the worst management company I've ever rented from...they're rude and dismissive and do not even pretend to act like they care about their tenants. My apartment was absolutely filthy when I moved in so it doesn't seem like they do any sort of cleaning between tenants. I'll be breaking my lease as soon as I find another place.

My family and I lived in two different apartments managed by Maddox over a period of 2.5 years. In that time we had an absolutely excellent experience with the apartments and the management company. The apartments were well maintained, clean, and free from problems. The management company was incredibly responsive to maintenance requests, understanding when we needed to end a lease early (I was contracted in another state), and always incredibly friendly when communicating. I have been renting for the majority of my life and i have never had such a positive experience with a management company

This place is the worst property management company I have ever come across. Both people working there (mother and son) are extremely rude and unprofessional.
1. I called to have the fridge in my apartment replaced after it broke and they did not want to replace it until after a whole month later.
2. Every time I called, they would talk to me very condescendingly and rude.
3. Another time, the landlord at Maddox tried to charge the whole apartment complex for damage ONE tenant did to the property by having a bonfire at the backyard and then abandoned the place. He literally tried to charged

My experience with Maddox Management so far has been wonderful! Moved from out of state & not only were they attentive with my multiple phone calls and questions, they expedited the lease to me for review & even met with us after hours to sign. I am more than pleased with my unit as well! Looking forward to the rest of my stay with them :)

The home I was renting was trash and moved out after 2 months of never ending problems. The carpet was still wet the day i was to move in. It took another week after my move in date because of all the problems. 2 full trash cans 1 was broken. The garage was full of broken furniture. The house had furniture. Torn window screens. Dirt crusted floors. Brown water.....I was pregnant and couldn't even use my water.

Honestly, I’m lucky to know the owner of the property. I’ve been living at this home for about 3 years and the owners son recommended we transfer to Maddox for the property management. I was hesitant, but compliant. Half a year later and they’re still getting everything wrong. I requested maintenance for my cooler, not only do I have to call them Thursday again to stir up some reaction, I received a lonely text for the number of the plumbing company. So I proceeded to call and handle it myself. I even got the owner involved. A week later and I get a notice on my door stating that they called

I have known the Maddox's for many years. They have done an amazing job managing my rental property in Albuquerque. When things were in need of repair they always let me know and found quality people to do the repairs. They found great tenants and made sure that all of the financials were in order. Also, they're great people and a real pleasure to deal with. Damon, Barb and Liska are extremely professional and I would recommend them without hesitation for both landlords and tenants.

Terrible experience - my unit was dirty upon moving in. I took the time, money, and elbow grease to clean it all up only to have Maddox Management take my entire deposit upon moving out for "damages". I would never recommend this management agency to anyone. I've been a renter for 15 years, most of those years in Chicago. I've never once had a damage deposit not fully returned.

This is the most unprofessional property management company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. For example, when I showed up to the property that I was very interested in renting, the current tenant was there, but the agent was about 10 minutes late. As I was looking through the property I asked some questions: "How much is the rent", "what do the utilities average", "what year was this built?" Maddox Management was amazing! Every issue was managed in great time! By that I mean the day of the issue or the following day it was addressed. I never was on time with rent by a few days and it never seemed to be a problem which was awesome! The people at the office were super friendly. My dad moved into my apartment after me, with no hassles of walk threw. Really laid back but organized company!

They are nice when you are signing up and they always say there is someone else who is about to sign up for this property. If you have any problem or issue with the property you've rented they try to get out of fixing it or fix it to the lowest cheapest level possible. The son specially is absolutely rude!

I've been a renter from this company for nearly a decade, and I've had a good and fair service. The only incident I ever had was when an electrician destroyed my garden, I complained, And never saw that electrician again. Any repair request or work order is immediately handled I think the longest I've ever waited was just a couple days. If you can pay your rent to keep your property clean I doubt you'll ever have a problem, and if you do Maddox will work tirelessly to help you solve it, at least that's my experience, and I've never heard any of my neighbors complain

Avoid them!! I had set up an appointment to see a property with Maddox Management yesterday. The person was a no show and did not contact me to let me know that he wouldn't be coming, so my mom and I waited for over 30 minutes for him. We were very disappointed by the professionalism of this company both on the phone and in this no show.
