As your therapist, our goal is to help you recognize and become your best self. Together, we will come to a greater understanding of the challenges you face and work towards discovering effective solutions. Our focus is to help you gain confidence and develop new skills that will enable you to engage more fully and vibrantly within friendships, relationships, career, and most importantly, with yourself.

If you're struggling in your relationship and feeling scared that you and your partner aren't going to be able to figure it out, my team and I can help. I've seen couples on the brink of despair do the hard, sometimes ugly but always rewarding, work and find their way back to each other. Making a relationship work is not easy, what with all the stresses we throw at it like choosing to start a family or having a challenging career.

Having a strong and authentic connection with your therapist is one of the greatest predictors of success. Sometimes it can be tough trying to figure out how to find the "right fit." With over 16 years of experience, I work with individuals, couples, and groups motivated for personal growth and change in their lives precipitated by a diverse range of concerns.
Are you worried that something's wrong with you for not feeling so connected to your baby? Becoming a parent is one of the most joyous, breathtaking, and exciting adventures you will ever partake in, but it sure ain't easy and it may not actually feel all that joyous or breathtaking or exciting!

New moms/parents are often dealing with major hormonal changes, recovering from the rigors of labor and delivery, figuring out breast/chest or bottle feeding, all while attempting to get more than two hours of sleep at a time - it's enough to make anyone lose it!You may have experienced birth trauma, whether in terms of your delivery, your health, or the health of your baby.
If you're here, you've likely been thinking that you need a bit more support in dealing with your pregnancy and are interested in connecting with other similarly-minded mamas-to-be. At various times of the year, I offer a pregnancy support group, "Coping with Pregnancy, " in the Washington, DC metro area.
Are you overwhelmed by the frequent clinic visits and financial burdens of reproductive intervention? Does it feel like infertility is getting in the way of your relationships with pregnant friends or friends with children? Once you've decided you're ready to have children, most of us want to get going right away!
Does it feel like the trust and emotional safety with your person is increasingly fragile? If you answered yes to any of the above, we look forward to helping you make positive changes in your partnership. In my work with couples, I utilize a therapeutic approach called Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), developed by Sue Johnson.
