One day I started craving something I almost never crave, and that's Cuban food. I'm glad I came out to the DFW area because the Cuban food in Chicago is not very good, and this place being my first try in DFW gives me bright hope for Cuban food down in the DFW area.
I ordered the Bistec Encebollado with black beans & rice and some Fried Plantains. All of it tasted phenomenal, much better than any of the stuff I've had back in Chicago. The Beef was cooked the way I expected, except much better. It was tender, moist, with just a bit of chewiness. The rice had an amazing taste

Just called to ask if I can order PAPPA RELLENA by ordering 2 beef empanadas which add up to the same price as one order of PAPPA RELLENA. I wanted to call ahead first before I put my order through to make sure they know what I'm trying to do and make sure they read the details section on the order which states the same. I called and a Spanish woman answered and I asked her and she hung up on me! So rude! Never ordered from here before, it would be my first time, but after experiencing that.. not sure that I even want to! I just tried calling back and a nice guy answered who does speak English

A friend brought me carry-out from this place and OMG! It took me back to my visit to Cuba. The papas, croquetas and empanada were a perfect crunch, but fresh on the inside. There was more than enough congri (rice and black beans) for the bistec and sides. I hear the owner is a very sweet lady...now I definitely want to visit this spot! A Saturday night of live salsa dancing sounds like the perfect way to burn off that delicious food!

My wife and I visited the restaurant today. The service was pleasant and attentive. We ordered a Cuban sandwich so we thought and a beef sandwich ( pan con bistec). The two sandwiches were very disappointing. Not even close to what they are suppose to be. The Cuban sandwich was nothing like Latin America, Versailles or La Carreta from Miami. There was barely any ham, the cheese was more like cheese sauce and the pork was tow pieces. The bread was soggy and not toasted. The pan con bistec was so thin my wife couldn't taste the steak. This place does not represent a Cuban restaurant. If they

My husband and I had been craving Cuban food all week and decided to try a new local place tonight.
Upon reading the reviews I thought this would be a safe bet to try. Unfortunately, this place lacked in a few things.
Hidden behind the corner of Webb Chapel and Belt Line the parking lot is pretty small, I was lucky to score THE LAST spot on a Friday night around 6pm.
The inside of the restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. The staff was also very nice.
I called ahead to order and was disappointed to see that the pricing on the website did not match the price they were charging me.

During the recent power outage I was looking for a hot meal and happens to see this place open. What a blessing. Suspect due to the road conditions and weather the place was not busy I was greeted by the hostess and quickly seated. The place was clean and social distancing was encouraged. Ordered the ropa vejiea and was not disappointed. Ended the meal with a cafacito
Look forward to eating here again. Highly recommend this gem.

I gotta say, I'm no expert on Cuban food so I can't tell you how "authentic" it is. But as a fat man, I know good tasting sandwiches and coffee, lol. The staff here are very nice even though I don't speak Spanish. The food is awesome. I had the Caribbean Sandwich. Picture included. And their cuban coffee is awesome.

Holy smokes! I didn't know how much I needed this in my life! I had the Fricassee de pollo and my wife had the Fricassee de puerco (I had stewed chicken she had stewed pork) we also tried the empenadas, cuban coffee, cafe con leches (frufru milk and coffee for when you're feeling boujie),and smoothies I can't even begin to spell or pronounce. Everything was perfect.
The coffees were perfect starters, but would have also worked post meal. The meat was so tender, juicy, and fall apart just like you would want, just perfect. The black beans were flavorful and tender. The plantains were crispy but

Initially, my date and I decided to check out one spot but upon arrival it looked too commercial and I wanted a more authentic feel. We found this little cute spot got everything that we were looking for!

Cute little spot off Web Chapel in a small strip mall next to two other mom and pop restaurants and a convenience store. Upon entry to the spot, there is a small bar to the right with seating and then more seating to the left. The place is pretty small but it's clean and has beautiful art on the wall.

I came here on the recommendation of a Cuban friend of mine. She described the restaurant as the closest you can get to Miami Cuban food, and BOY was she right.
My parents and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, which has a bright, energetic feeling. That was only heightened by the live music performed by a remarkably talented girl, who sang, played the flute and even played drums.
We were so excited to try some of our favorite dishes we had sampled in Miami, so we may have gone a little overboard...the good thing is, the food reheats remarkably well, so it's a good idea to

Been to Miami and enjoyed great Cuban food? Then come here! See my ending comment!
What a gem we found! This establishment has delicious and authentic Cuban food! Service was great, our mojitos were great, the complimentary buttered toasted bread was amazingly great with a crispy exterior and a nice soft chew in the center. Yum, yum and YUM!
It wasn't very busy when we're got there at 8 p.m. but shortly after customers flowed in. It will get a little loud in there, there are no acoustic panels to absorb the noise so be prepared.
We sat at a table in the bar and were comfortable
