Matt is an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector with over 150 hours of training. He started his career in the construction field, building above ground pools and framing houses. After earning his bachelors and masters degrees, Matt held various roles within small and large companies with a continued focus on Customer Experience.
We are totally committed to exceeding your expectations. We typically schedule one inspection per day and are not in a hurry to get the inspection completed. We invest the time required to do the thorough job that you deserve. We generally spend 4-5 hours at an average size house and take the time to walk around the entire house with you, explaining the systems and pointing out both potential deficiencies and positive aspects of the house.
Using a builder can be confusing. When should I schedule an inspection? How "picky" should I be? How do I approach the builder? These are all good and legitimate concerns. HomeSpy will coach you on the answers so you can get the best product for your money. We communicate with you in plain terms that will give you confidence when communicating issues with the builder.

Radon is an invisible radioactive gas that comes from the natural breakdown of uranium and radium in soil, rock and water. Radon moves up through the ground and can get pulled into your your home from the "stack effect", where hot air rises and pulls new air and Radon gas from below. Radon enters the home through air gaps in basements and crawl spaces.
