What does a home inspection include? The standard home inspector's report will cover the condition of the home's heating system; central air conditioning system (temperature permitting); interior plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic and visible insulation; walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; the foundation, basement and structural components.

I have used Midstate Home Inspections to inspect the property I was purchasing. I was very impressed with Matt's knowledge. While he was checking the house, starting with the roof and all the way to the crawl space, I followed him and listened about the good and not so good things he was finding. I am a first time home buyer so new to the inspection process. Matt allowed me to follow him everywhere during the inspection and he “thought out loud” during the entire 4 hours to help me better understand what he was looking at/for. He answered all of my questions and pointed out any bigger concern areas right away. He reviewed everything, big and small, on site with me before he left and I received the full inspection via email less than 24 hours after the inspection. I have used Matt on two inspections now and will definitely use him on an future inspections.
