Dr. Mahesh Solanki attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, graduating in 2014 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He continues to advance his education regularly, completing 30-60 hours of continuing education training each year. My entire experience with Whitman Dental Center, from the moment I called their office until I left there yesterday with a complete comprehensive roadmap of how to achieve MY GOAL of dental health fitness, was a seamless professional process thanks to EVERYONE on the Whitman Dental Center staff. I love this dentist, they are always welcoming and work with me on my insurance. My teeth cleaning is usually very painless and I have also have procedures done here that were painless as promised. It’s great and reliable and they also remind me of my appointments ahead of time. Monique is very nice and helps me stay organized with my insurance.

I've had a lot of anxiety with going to the dentist as I had a few major procedures that I had to get done, but Covid forced me to push everything back. But that being said , I had a really pleasant experience at Dr. Solankis office today. He was so kind and his entire staff was super helpful and reassuring, the clinic is also very clean and I was able to book my appointment online. I am so thankful I found a dentist in the city that's professional and thorough.

I started going here since my dentist was still closed due to Covid and I dont believe I will ever leave.
I was shocked when I was able to schedule appointment at 230 in the morning for the following day on the computer. Turned out like I thought and I needed a root canal.I'm all fixed now and just got my crown last week and it was music to my ears when they said I dont need to return until April for checkup/cleaning.
I adore the Dental Hygentist and I forgot her name but as soon as I started going there I felt like I knew her my whole life she even got me hooked on a new show since there

Dr. Solanki is a great dentist. He takes the time to explain everything. Had a build out and crown put in. The crown is flawless and feels great. The temp crown before now was very sturdy which I appreciated while traveling overseas!
Valerie is also awesome. She is such a pleasant person and makes the experience very relaxed and comfortable. I would be remiss not to mention the dental assistants, unfortunately I don't recall their names. But they are always super welcoming and helpful.

Dr. Solanki and his staff are impeccable. Kind, patient, friendly and upbeat. I first visited after a few years without insurance, therefore years since my last exam. They were gentle, had Netflix on in the room and checked in with me constantly to assure my comfort. Years later he caught 2 tiny cavities before they progressed and got me in for fillings within the week. I was terrified but he finished BOTH within 20 mins with ZERO pain and I nearly wept with joy at how simple and painless the experience was. I cannot recommend this practice more, especially to those who have extreme dental

I've been using Whitman Dental for about a year now. Their office is easily accessible and there's always parking nearby. Outside is, well, South Philly so don't let that stop you.
Once inside their office the environment is bright, modern, and clean. The secretaries are friendly. The dental hygienists are friendly. And Dr Solanki is awesome. He is very approachable and helpful, and he is also gentle which can be hard to find in a dentist.
Just be prepared to get a lot of texts and emails from them, they bombard you with reminders and extra specials they have going on.

Dr. Solanki is awesome. I started going here in August and he makes the dental experience so much better. I hate the dentist but he is very attentive and caring and makes you feel comfortable. He cares about your well being as much as he cares about your teeth and I'm very grateful for that. Valerie is great too. They make you feel welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend this dental office especially if you're skeptical of dentist to begin with. They will make you feel right at home.

The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Solanski does great work. He extracted 2 of my wisdom teeth, as well as fixed a cracked tooth, by putting a crown on it. I love the neighborhood feel of the office and care I received. The price is very very reasonable as well I'm comparison to other dentists in the area. Highly recommend to anyone!
