One sure path to energy efficiency in houses is eliminating air leaks. If you cut down the amount of air that has to be heated and cooled, you cut your utility bill substantially. But plugging up all those air leaks means less fresh air inside and this has brought on other problems. One of the first to be identified was elevated concentrations of volatile organic compounds in the air.
The release of this radioactive gas enters the air you breathe, causing a potential health risk to you and your family. Radon gas can be found in just about anywhere. It can get into any type of building - homes, offices, and schools - and build up to high levels. Radon is a cancer causing radioactive gas.

Kelly performed an inspection of a home that I wished to purchase. His report appeared detailed, but when the professionals were called, it was determined it was simply a template that he filled out. He claimed my attic was properly insulated when what it really had were stones, newspaper, possibly asbestos, a few chunks of insulation thrown about and a half full bag of insulation that was never spread. Comments were made about needing a stronger flashlight and the attic being tight; the insulation technician and myself (a woman) were able to climb the pull down stairs and take photos of the issues

Kelly is amazing. Just so kind and honest. He was recommended to me by my boss. Would not want to go to another. He's very thorough and walks you through it all. He also is patient with questions and explains anything you don't understand. I am a first time home buyer so this was all new to me and walked away knowing more than I thought I would be able to. Plus he gets the reports back to you quickly. We got ours the same day!
