We built Bear's with our own sweat and love, from the floor to the rafters, and our dining room has stories to tell. Our colorful tables are crafted from the bow of an old Tahitian fishing boat. The virgin teak wood was painted with the ancestral colors of the village, and the money went back to the village to buy new fishing boats.

Like everyone in the area who drives 95 and gets off at Atlantic going east you've driven by the old legendary conch fritter joint Dees Dees a little ways west before the real Delray thing begins. Same small crazy kitschy wonderful Hawaiian surf shack without the surf, bigger better menu, from the blue acai bowl to their Hawaiian lunch, killer poke bowls, wraps, and salads, they turn out a lot of terrific food!.

We were on our way to the beach and swung through here for a quick breakfast. Their smoothies - delicious. We had the mango one, and it was a joyful and sweet surprise for your mouth. Their breakfast açaí bowl - on point. I had the one with Nutella and peanut butter. So much flavor, so perfectly put together. Their breakfast burrito - superb! My kiddo had the one with egg whites and Turkey bacon. Yummmmm! My husband had the steak, eggs, cheese one - he loved it.
So what do you do when you really love a menu? You swing through for lunch. That's how good

This place is a gem amongst the tourist strip of restaurants and fine dining . Total authentic beach vibe where you can feel the owners love of Hawaii. I own a juice and smoothie bar myself and this “beach joint” is by far the best I’ve had in my travels . The food looks amazing and the quality of smoothie bowls is legit fire 🔥!

This place is amazing!! The manager Bryan is so friendly and hilarious and just made the whole experience. The food is served fresh and I definetly recommend trying everything from the acai bowls, to the protein bowls, to the smoothies. 10/10 Been coming here for years now and I will continue to come here.

Walked in and they had a big line during lunch time. They quoted around 15 minutes for food to come out but it took 20 minutes for mine to come out. I think if you are on a rush during lunch break, it would be better to order beforehand.
I ordered the keto bowl which consisted of cauliflower rice, avocado, fried egg, chicken, bacon, greens , and tomato with a cilantro aioli. I am glad that it had a fried egg and the cilantro aioli to give it more of that moist and yummy flavor. Overall, I thought the food was yummy. I thought the smoothies are a little bit overpriced.
Also, I liked the ambiance

Nothing bad to say about Bears! Fresh, tasty, hot and delicious food. Tons of options on the menu + smoothies! Looks like a little hole in the wall, but the food is fantastic and the staff is pretty nice too! There's a little bit of indoor and outdoor seating, but not much. They also have beer and cider to drink. My favorite is the teri Sun bowl and the breakfast wraps (sausage, cheddar, egg, hash brown). Breakfast served all day! Yum! I love this place.

I was excited about visiting this place after seeing their menu and reviews on Yelp. The outside of the building is fun and the dancing bear in front of the establishment is very entertaining.
When we walked up to the cash register the cashier greeted us with a warm "aloha", but unfortunately that is where the warmth ended. She immediately seemed impatient and annoyed with us as she took our order. I am not sure why as there was no one behind us in line. I was especially upset in the way she treated my mother - she kept responding with a "what?" when my mom asked about dairy

I really wasn't sure what Bear's Food Shack actually was until I walked in. I knew it is one of the few places open at 8am serving coffee in Delray. I selected a tiny brownie dessert from a display case, perfect for my kid, and ordered a smoothie that had 3 ingredients, similar to a pina colada, that was quickly made, icy cold, and affordable; it was on the employee's favorite board.
Besides that, I have no idea how much the blueberry bread I purchased was, as there was no price there nor on the small bakery display case.
I wasn't hesitant to order anything more involved

I had to update my review. I've been coming here for a while now and I've been ordering the same Steak, Egg, and Chedder wrap, and the last two times I've called my order in, they say it'll take 15 minutes, I arrive in 15 minutes, and I still have to wait an additional 15 minutes. Makes no sense. Why take orders over the phone if we still have to wait 30 minutes?

Bear's was a very pleasant surprise! I drove by it many times and wish that I had tried it much sooner. You can't help but notice the giant stuffed bears placed outside the restaurant. While "shack" does describe the small inside of the restaurant, there is plenty of outside seating. The breakfast burrito was fresh, well made and very tasty. The peanut butter smoothie complemented the meal and tasted great. Bear's food, staff, and overall cool vibe is definitely something you want to experience. I am looking forward to trying the rest of their menu.

It's a small business that's just on the edge of the main drag in Delray. A cute spot cheerfully decorated with bears and surfboards.
For those concerned about COVID precautions there is outdoor seating available for parties no more than 6. The interior is small though so social distancing can be a little more challenging. Seating inside is no more than 4.
The owner was present and stopped by to say hi and to ensure that the quality and service was good.

Cute restaurant located off Atlantic, you can't miss it with their white bears outside and themed building. Lots of parking so you don't have to worry about street parking. It's behind / to the side of the building.
We were greeted as soon as we walked inside, the decor is very cute. They have a large menu with tacos, poke, sandwiches, burger, acai, juices, smoothies and more as well as beer in the fridge right by the entrance door. Prices are great for the quality you recieve.
My husband and I eat got a beer and a meal for $30 we got an IPA craft beer each and I got the tuna poke

If Trader Joe’s ever opened a restaurant this would be it! Chill beach vibes, great parking (as opposed to the main restaurant strip of Atlantic Avenue near Pineapple Grove). Coffee was meh, but they do get points for having organic agave and almond milk as options on the self serve counter. Terri-Sun Bowl was packed with meat and veggies and topped with jammy eggs- but it was a tad too salty and drowned out the other flavors, like sesame oil. Kona bowl was delicious and worth the money, although it wouldn’t hurt to get a few more shrimps. Staff was decent but not the friendliest- basically

Nice little spot at the edge of Downtown Delray to catch a bite. They have a small parking area and limited indoor and outdoor seating. Just like it's name suggests, it's truly a small little shack. There's a nice selection of sandwiches, tacos, bowls and smoothies.
Some highlights:
Tuna Poke bowl- nice mix of flavors and ingredients. The tuna was fresh and the slaw added a great texture.
Aloha Bowl- refreshing and not too sweet, which is perfect for a healthy balance.

I like the idea of this place, a healthy surf-shack style eatery with a cool outdoor seating vibe. The food and smoothies are great and there’s tons of options to choose from. I ordered tacos and couldn’t believe how good they were. However, I’m really confused about the name “Bears” and the fascination with giant teddy bears planted everywhere. Not sure what that has to do with a tropical themed restaurant. This place could be great if they fixed a few things. Food took 20 minutes to come out as they were understaffed. The free water cups are a complete joke, they are the size of a 2oz

Adorable stand alone shack with a front deck and attached parking lot. Fun cheerful beach decor inside and out. Almost expected to walk back outside with my smoothie and step onto sand. The staff is as cheerful as their decor, friendly and helpful.
They have a couple of seating options inside and some (uncovered) outdoor seating on their front deck. They had many enticing bites on their menu. But I had already eaten lunch and was in search of a refreshing beverage. I totally found it here.

This restaurant used to be amazing. I used to eat here a few times a week. I recently went back super excited to eat the delicious food. I was overcharged and notified the girl behind the counter. The manager was supposed to refund me. 3 weeks later and multiple calls later I still haven’t received a call back nor have I received a refund. Very… upset. I finally decided to retract my 5 stars. The customer service was fantastic along with the food.... it has completely gone down hill. The owner used to always be at the restaurant, apparently now he’s never there. I no longer recommend
