Services
Delicatessen is a word that gets thrown around pretty carelessly these days. It's a term that takes in any food counter that offers meats and cheeses, maybe some potato salad or sliced nova. But once upon a time, delicatessen meant something. It meant experienced cooks crafting family favorites -the same Jewish soul food that mothers and Bubbes made for their own families.
Ruven's offers an array of flavors all inspired by authentic, Kosher-style cuisine. In addition to our regular dinner menu, we have our weekly "Meal Deals", available Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30-7pm. Choose from over 15 full meals, including traditional favorites like Stuffed Cabbage and Chicken in the Pot.

They weren't very busy at Ruven's today, but it still took over 20 minutes to get any food, which was made worse by the very slow WiFi. My wife's turkey with tomato and avocado paninni came without the avocado. The waitress offered to have it remade, but we declined due to the time. We also ordered a side of challah French toast with sugar free syrup which arrived as a thin slice of plain challah bread, no topping, not even butter offered. My Apple pie stuffed French toast arrived blackened on raisin bread, which is not their stuffed item, but the Big Apple, another item.
We did get a plate with

Food is ok, nothing spectacular, but just ok. The prices are extraordinarily high for that you're getting though. For 5 people, expect to pay $70 or more for lunch which is outrageous. This is no 5 star restaurant, it's just a deli, so to charge the food prices they charge is just crazy.
Service is very slow, so if you have anywhere you need to be at a certain time, don't expect to get out of there anytime soon. You'll get your food and never see the server again until it's time for the check. Don't expect them to check in on refills, if you need anything, etc. There are much better places to

Our Ruven's meals last night (picked up and brought home) were perfectly delicious. Every item was excellent: Turkey Stuffed Cabbage with Kasha Varnishkes and Egg Barley & Mushrooms; Shrimp Salad Platter; Cobb Salad (remarkably fresh). Enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend Ruven's.

My favorite Jewish deli! Terrific, generous corned beef sandwiches with all the extras thrown in...cole slaw, awesome pickles. The coffee was a whole pot for each of us individually. Nice.

Food is good not great. The French fries are potato wedges, not crispy. Their cheese cake is awesome. and the free Cole slaw and pickles are nice.
But atmosphere is not good. Needs to be refurbished. Lacks a clean feel to it.

Hardly any help, the cashier also prepares the takeout orders and cuts the meat for sandwiches. I think he does the best he can but he doesn’t have time to change his gloves after he takes money. I wouldn’t go back.

This is a very good restaurant with a huge menu.
I brought 10 people here for breakfast and the service was amazing as was the food.
The only issue anyone, including myself, had was there was no cell phone reception inside. That part was weird because we compared our reception from different phones/carriers.
Will definitely be returning.

Came to Ruven’s for lunch after a late morning doctor’s appointment. Since this was our first visit to this restaurant we didn’t know what to expect. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by Dawn. Her personality, friendliness and attentiveness were AMAZING. She brought us the complimentary coleslaw and pickles. I ordered the Junior Salad which came with a bowl of delicious mushroom barley soup. I had the chopped liver which was delicious. The homemade rye bread was the perfect addition to the meal. I was pleased with the food and will definitely be returning.

I like their Rachel sandwich, a Ruben but with pastrami instead of corned beef. Topped with sauerkraut, swiss cheese and Russian dressing. Comes with steak fries, Cole slaw and a pickle. Very good.
