My buddy recommended this place. By chance happened to be in area. I got Italian feast she got Stromboli. Food was on point and excellent .
Only glitch was our server . She was very new . She never checked on table. We had to get up 5 times ,find her and ask for refills ect. Had to ask for bill 3 times...getting up each time. Have I mentioned I use a cane

This is the absolute worse experience I've ever had in a restaurant... We got there early, ordered waited 2 hours and nothing. We were then told that our order could be prepared but it would take a while because they were busy. Only offered 20% off our bill. We will never be back and will make it our personal mission to keep people from this trash place.

This restaurant has really changed. In need of an adult in the house to manage. Pizza guy was a silly mess….not sure what his deal is but all of the silliness is just not appreciated. He was sweeping the floor when we came in (a good thing) but didn’t wash his hands after and touched a calzone in the oven (gross thing). Never did wash his hands after running outside several times and to the dollar store. We had high hopes based on past reviews but left disappointed. They seem to be struggling with staff and service as most establishments are. Our service was great but we noticed others weren't pleased. Our chicken parm and baked ziti looked amazing but tasted somewhat bland. Portions are large with a price tag to match.

I'm late posting this review but it has to be said. YOU MUST EAT HERE! The food was AMAZING! It's a quaint little restaurant with your meal prepared within view of any table. We ordered enough food to eat there and take back to our hotel for later.
The calamari was perfection! The garlic bread was hot and fresh. Their anti-pasta salad was over flowing, the pizza was out of this world...and don't get me started on their Italian sausage! Though we were beyond stuffed, we still had to try the cannot! Fugget abowed it!
Then the bill came...talk about affordable!

This place is great! The pasta is delicious, and the garlic rolls are good too (nice chunks of garlic on top). Do yourself a favor and... Get. The. Gnocchi. With the vodka sauce. They bury it at the bottom of the pasta menu like it's a secret treasure buried in sea cave on the Oregon Coast and you gotta battle the Fratelli's with Sean Astin, Kerry Green, Corey Feldman and their crew to find it. Should be a feature item. Ask 'em to cook it a little longer than usual, so the gnocchis crisp up. Magnifique!

We were so pleasantly surprised today with our lunch from Mama Mia! The Italian subs were amazing - fresh bread, large slices of red tomato, fresh greens and arugula, and a fantastic Italian dressing on the side along with plenty of meats and cheese. The small calzone was huge, with sausage and pepperoni and veggies and mozzarella so chewy and wonderful. A slice of lemoncello cake - light and creamy and lemony. Kind service too. You can tell these people care about what they serve, and how they serve it. Wish we had this place in our neighborhood!

Me and my husband stop by to ask about pizza special as the owner was telling is my husband ask another question and the owner flat out to him to shut up that he didn't need to be asking all these questions. So needless to say we didn't eat there you just can't talk to customers anyway you want and from what I understand the owner treats his employees like crap. There is alot of other good pizza places in Elkins wish I could give this place a negative 5

We visited the Elkins area primarily to take one of the railroad excursions through the National Forest. We did not expect the variety of quality restaurants in this small city. Mama Mia's is located in downtown Elkins.
We were "forewarned" that the portions are huge, so we decided to share a meal of penne pasta in vodka sauce with crab meat and shrimp.
No problem for the server, and indeed the portion was bounteous as well as delicious. The dinner was accompanied with a salad with a variety of ingredients including banana peppers, olives, etc: no bagged salads at Mama Mia&apos

My colleague and I had a fantastic Italian Sicilian pizza here last night. It was way too big, we couldn't finish half of it but it was delicious! The wait staff was great, love the ambience of the place and the owner personally thanked us on our way out. If you're in the area, you can't go wrong with this homemade pizza place!

After a long weekend of backpacking 25 miles at Dolly Sods, the guys and I were looking for some good grub after surviving on dehydrated meals.. After pulling up Yelp we decided to give this place a look even though we were looking a little rough and may stick out.. GOOD THING WE DID!
